"Stayed in Bellevue for three years, so that comes with its own wear and tear because of three years of use. Incredibly simple, old apartment living with storage in the bottom of the building. I chose Bellevue because of its location to UC/CCM. Built good rapport with management and maintenance. Issues were handled quickly and with good communication. However, $275 was pulled out of my deposit due to carpet cleaning (I paid for my own carpet cleaning and was repeatedly told that my carpets were the best carpets in the complex) and “additional cleaning fees.” You get what you pay for here, but the reviews mentioning deposits are correct."
"The place had bedbugs and the landlord that's responsible for their removal would not hire exterminators. They got the janitor to go around with a spray bottle of chemicals and coat the room. It even took a few days for that to happen. After that wonderful experience before I was able to go down to the office to pay rent, they slide an eviction notice under the door on the Saturday of a holiday weekend with a three day notice to leave or pay another 200$ on top of rent. I spoke with a lawyer who told me that unless you want to fight it in court you better move out since you aren't able to pay them within the three day limit (they don't work Saturday, Sunday, or that holiday Monday). Lovely."
"This apartment may look great and seem perfect but it is far from. They will steal as much of your security deposit as possible. I spent hours cleaning the apartment that I was in and then when i got my security deposit back they charged me for cleaning the whole apartment all over again. Then they charged me to fix things that were broken when i moved in. They will literally charge you for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. Don't move in here but if you do take pictures of EVERYTHING when you move in and when you move out. And when you move in make sure that you write down everything even if you think its not a big deal. Anything that could possibly be wrong have them fix it. I would just recommend not loving here. Ask anyone who lived here and they will tell you that they stole their money."
"Lived a year from 2016 through 2017. The apartment is pretty nice and cheap compared to similar sized apartments around the University of Cincinnati campus. When we moved in it was in a pretty decent condition, although the kitchen was not properly cleaned (e.g., onion skins inside drawers, blood residue in the freezer). When we moved out, we thoroughly cleaned the house and since we moved out about 5 days early they waived the carpet cleaning fee and we got our entire deposit back! I only had two maintenance issues and they responded very quickly. Good experience during my limited stay I did not like the congested street and also had my car broken into once. Here are some pros and cons: PRO: 1. Relatively cheap with decent sized kitchen for a one bedroom apartment (heard they increased the rent though!) 2. Walking distance to UC 3. Brick walls meant good noise insulation 4. Good maintenance service. CONS: 1. Very congested street -- horrible parking situation during school time. 2. Tiny range oven. 3. Sketchy neighborhood -- chance of vandalism."
"Do not live here. -VERY overpriced. Old decrepit appliances, drawers and cabinets falling apart. -Nobody takes care of the pool. It is constantly dirty and they do not even provide chairs. Not to mention you will be constantly harassed while you are at the pool by the staff who demand to see your keys to prove your residency, or to kick your girlfriend out while you are in the bathroom. -They will find a way to take your deposit no matter what you do. They charged me $300 for a hole and leak in my ceiling, that resulted from an appliance leaking in the apartment above me. They also charged me for cleaning after my entire family and I spent an entire day scrubbing everything. The apartment was not clean when I moved into it either. They also charged me for repainting the apartment (something they always do when people move out anyways). -The complex always smells like people are smoking weed. Inside. -There are bugs everywhere. Little centipedes are the most common inside and out, while I also frequently saw spiders and silverfish. One of my friends living across the complex also had major problems with roaches. It's really a shame because it could be a nice place to live, but it is ruined by the greed and laziness of the owner. Any apartment complex in the area is better (and most likely cheaper too)."
