"Don’t ever consider living here. The previous owner got bought out by Blackrock and these people don’t deserve a penny. My Rent went from $1200 to $1650 over 2 years. They then tried to up to $1850 for a 1 bedroom so i left. They don’t care about you and went completely cheap while charging absurd rates. Find a local Cincinnati rental company - don’t give to these people"

"Didn’t really plan on writing a review about how things went downhill after the management change but after I just checked the price of the apartment we moved out of, I changed my mind! When we moved into JRG, we paid $1410 in rent. By the time we moved out 15 months later, they said if we extended, it would be $1925. We knew the market was changing and we wanted to move states anyways. But I just logged in and I see that our same apartment unit is now listed for $1428. For a 640 square foot apartment. It’s really frustrating that they were going to charge us $500 more due to market but obviously now that’s not the case with all their vacant units. This isn’t even including the $75 each for parking spots. On top of that, things just aren’t as good as they used to be here. There’s no communication and no one was ever in the office. I remember our bathroom ceiling started leaking and it took me four phone calls to different numbers to try to reach the office downstairs. Fire alarms go off all the time and we never knew if they were real or not. At least with Village Green, they emailed everyone within five minutes of it happening. I also don’t recommend this building to people with mobility issues or (in our situation) senior dogs. The elevators are down constantly and it is extremely inconvenient. 2 stars for a great location and great apartment unit otherwise. And the office staff is nice IF you can find them."

"My fiancé and I moved here in October 2021. We’ve loved the ability to walk to surrounding restaurants/bars, being a 5 minute drive to Cincinnati, and the amenities of the apartment complex. We recently renewed our lease and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve seen a few previous poor reviews around current management, but I couldn’t disagree more. Jessica and Emily have worked with us on countless occasions the last few months and have been very easy to reach via email. John R Green is a great place to live, I would 100% recommend!"

"Unfortunately I am moving out but my experience here the last year was wonderful. The staff is very communicative, friendly, and helpful. They were also very flexible and understanding with my move out situation as it happened somewhat abruptly. The building is very safe and I felt completely comfortable as a younger woman living alone. The gym and rooftop are incredible and the other amenities are awesome too. It is quite yet still has a vibrant night life atmosphere in the surrounding area. I really loved living here and absolutely recommend it!"
