Holiday Inn Cincinnati-Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

"The location, while convenient, is not in a good area. The hotel is not an option for a solo female traveler. They didn't have the type of room I reserved (with no apologies), so I accepted a different type of room. There were sketchy characters outside the entrance blocking the door. The stairwell was trashed and smelled of cigarette smoke. The hallways smelled like pot. The electrical outlets in my bathroom didn't work, there were no tissues, and the room was dated and not clean. I'm surprised this is still an IHG franchise, quite frankly. Kudos to the IHG Rewards Team for moving me down the street quickly and efficiently to the Holiday Inn Express nearby, which is a high-quality, clean property."

"Nice and affordable hotel in Cincinnati. The staff were very friendly on arrival and my room was clean and spacious. The property feels a bit outdated, but the bathroom was impressive and newly renovated. I would recommend staying here!"

"First off, I want to recognize the front office staff for being very friendly and professional. Great service. If i was running a business, I would want them as a part of my staff. The building is very outdated. The ice machine was not working on the 2nd floor. In order to get ice, you had to go out of your way to get it. The staff deserves a better place to work. The area is old, kinda outdated itself. I didn't feel like it was a dangerous area. There are plenty of fast food and gas stations all around."

"The lady at front desk was very nice. We came in late and she offered us a later checkout. Room was ok. There was no coffee offered after 10am, which we found to be unusual, since any other hotel we visited had coffee 24/7."

"The most amazing human running the front desk at night, Anthony! The hotel appeared clean and in a convenient location to the varying highways. Many places to eat nearby as well. Anthony greeted me, as an exhausted traveler around 130 am unfortunately they didn't have any rooms left. I was weary because I had been looking for a room for about and 1.5 hours at this point. As a compassionate human, Anthony volunteered to call some of the nearby IHG hotels to no avail. Then he suggested maybe if I could drive 20 minutes outside the city, there is one that will have rooms. He called them to make sure. On my way I went. Thank you Anthony, you are a very compassionate person and you make the world a much better place. I am not sure why when I used Google, I could not see how close hotels were or if they had any vacancies but I had already stopped at multiple places and was rejected. The world definitely needs more Anthony's, he is going places."
