"I lived here from August 2021-August 2022. The first thing you have to do moving in is get your car “approved,” which I did. Anything cosmetically wrong with your car will result in a really passive aggressive note threatening to tow the car if you don’t fix the problem within a month. They also will threaten your lease, which I don’t remember signing anything saying my lease can be threatened by my car’s appearance. I found out that this policy is due to the owner of the complex and his obsession with cars looking a certain way. So, I had to drop $1000 to fix some paint coming off my car, despite having had it approved. Additionally, Hannah who works at the desk is of no help to anyone for anything. She was rarely in her office and when she was she couldn’t help with any of the problems going on in the apartment. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance team. They’re some of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve met. If you want to have a comfortable, affordable, and dependable place to live, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Edit: While the property manager is correct that maintenance requests were always taken care of, which I said, the rest of the services there are terrible, including communication from the front desk. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to live here."

"We were residents of Park Lane for 3 years. In those 3 years, we enjoyed our time at Park Lane Apts. We chose Park Lane because of its' affordable rent and its' central location: near Norwood Lateral, The Punch House, Fitworks gym (though we frequented the apartment gym), Walgreens, Surrey Square w/ Kroger and Marshalls, gas stations, Xavier University, and police station. Though the building is older, and the trash is on the far right of the building, they are constantly striving for ways to improve and update. There are two elevators, and have carts available that residents used for groceries/ trash. The laundry room is nicely designed and you have to purchase a laundry card to use. I spent A LOT OF TIME in the computer lab while in school and the internet was fast, the printers worked, and office staff was helpful during any issue. The renovations thus far have been beautiful. The maintenance, housekeeping, and office staff are AMAZING- just good people. They are helpful and prompt to respond to any issue, and they happily participate in resident events like Halloween and Christmas door contests, get togethers, and often come up with creative ways to show how much they value the residents. No place is perfect, but we are so grateful to have been able to live comfortably for 3 years , with nice neighbors, attentive staff, and a beautiful view of the park :) Thank you, Park Lane!"
