"We got into these apartments in a time of great need with all credit going to Courtney, the property manager. She was incredibly instrumental in getting us a unit with Hidden Lakes and we wouldn't be here without her! Pros: It's a very safe neighborhood where pretty much everyone minds their own business. We have forgotten valuables in places where they could have easily been picked up, but they were left alone. Most neighbors have enough common sense to be decent on their noise levels. We were unfortunately doomed with an upstairs neighbor that has been complained about my multiple other tenants, and the complaints were handled with care and concern, not just brushed off. The office really does try to enforce lease rules which also happen to include basic respect measures, like cleaning up after your dogs. There are 1-2 bag posts at every building provided for tenants to have no excuse for cleaning up after them. The office cares about the wellbeing of the wildlife. They send reminders to not feed the geese or ducks, as this causes them to be dependent on people and not on their natural instinctive ways. The carpet is replaced between tenants. This is wonderful because this means less germs and yuck from the people before you. They are completely understanding if your rent has to be late as long as you communicate with them. This eases some stress due to an already stressful situation. The maintenance crew is phenomenal! They respond to maintenance requests promptly and always fix the problem fully. They are friendly and patient, and also super professional even when they have to clean up the laziness from tenants that dump things around the dumpster. No salary could possibly be enough for how wonderful they are! Cons: The biggest complaint that I have is that the cost is pretty astronomical given the size of the unit. However, with the routine maintenance of the units and the obvious care for them that is being shown, your money is being put to good use. In the time we have been here, we have had the sidewalks replaced that looks crummy, gutters installed, dryer vent cleaning, bathroom vent replacement, furnace and AC unit replacement, etc. Another complaint that I have is the way our lease renewal was handled. We were actively in the process of trying to get our family of five into something bigger and more affordable when I received an email saying we had until 11:59 that night to renew the lease or our rent and fees would be up to $2K/mo, when we are already drowning with the current cost. The email stated that there were two attempts to reach out to the primary lease applicant, my husband, that failed to go through, so they were aware there was no notice and waited until we had a ten hour notice to either sign another year or drown some more. We can't help but feel like we were trapped into another year at a place we can't afford. Overall, this is a great unit that is very cared for by the leasing office, and Courtney is a wonderful property manager who takes her job very seriously! This would be the perfect unit for a couple, roommates, or single person with no kids. Unfortunately it just isn't the best size for a family of five."

"Leasing agent was very very helpful and kept us informed every step of the way. She explained the rent and other fees and made it easy to the calculate everything to make sure I stayed within budget. I fell in love with the amenities, the beauty of the property, and the quietness of the community. Just knowing the important facts made our transition smooth and affordable!"

"I love inside the apartment, and I love the walk-in closet. The maintenance technicians are superb! I have one concern the entrance carpet is Discussing and a neighbor’s patio is unkept. The rest of the grounds I love so much!!! Update: The neighbors patio is still a mess and I’ve reported this several times. There is a broken brick in front that is used to leave the entrance door open. I’ve reported this as well. The apartment is so nice!!!!! Other than that I love it here. The brick has been removed!!! The patio is still a sight for sore eyes….. I love my apartment!!!!! I don’t love the entrance!!!!!!"

"OMG these apartments are amazing. Casey and Holy both helped us get our smooth move done from a Morgan Properties in MD. The porperty Manager Courtney is also super sweet and always on hand if we need help and easy to get hold of as well. They were all so sweet and kind to us. Extending patience with getting the paperwork done. and having to deal with the horrible service of the apartments we were currently in before moving into Hidden Lakes. They were so sweet when I finally was able to meet them in person as well. I arrived very close to close and Holy greeted me. And everyone in the office was so happy and excited to meet our Dog Raiden and our cat Shayde. I have been here for a month now and Maintenace is super friendly. We routinely stop in at the office to see all the girls up there. They always have dog treats on hand and greet our dog Raiden with a smile and lots of loves and treats. The apartment we have is absolutely stunning as well! So much bigger. We get to see ducks all the time and geese which is so cool. But my greatest joy is that the girls in the office as so amazing and sweet. I can't touch on that enough. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. The property is clean and well kept up. I feel safe walking my fur baby at night as well. They keep the place well-lit and it's just in general an amazing property! And such an amazing price as well. The neighbors are also quiet and courteous to. We almost never hear them which makes us sometimes wonder if we have them at all. Love these apartments! Especially love the office staff. Massive shout out to the girls up there for doing such an amazing job!"

"This place looked great for me and had everything I needed, except a good fitness center. The apartment looked great, plenty of space for a 1 bedroom, and had the washer and dryer hookups I needed. I know the area, which is quiet and pretty safe, but expanding due to Austin Landing and the incoming stores/crowds. The fitness center was the only complaint since it was a room, barely 8 x 10, with 5 lb free weights and less than 5 total machines and treadmills. The pool looked great, the pond and view was nice, but the gym was lacking. If that's not a concern for you, this is a very good option."
