"Our experience with Markesberry could not have gone better!!! From setting up the arrangements with Rhett on the phone to the 3 great guys he assigned to move our stuff, everything went perfectly. Ron, Adam and Mark showed up 15 mns early and went right to work. We only had them move the large furniture. They padded and banded every item, took excellent care while loading and unloading and were finished in 2 hrs! They were polite, friendly and professional. We cannot say enough about our experience and have mentioned their services to all of our friends. Thank you!"

"We had a grandmother clock totally destroyed on a move from Cincinnati to Charleston SC in April,2021. We had insurance for $75,000 w/no deductible. The estimate to repair was $2400, which was not covered according to Allied because it had PBO (packed by owner) written next to item on our 10 pages of items moved. This was a total lie. We did not pack clock. It was not packed at all when it arrived. After fighting to get this made right for 8 months with phone calls to the company from 2 Clocksmiths, we had to pay the repair. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They were not helpful in anyway. We felt we were taken advantage of and treated very badly. I did report them to the Better Business Bureau in Cincinnati. This was a Herschede clock purchased in 1972. Not an antique but vintage and very important to our family."

"Had an out of state move. Movers were professional & reliable. Showed up on the day and time expected. They even showed up one day prior, to pack up artwork ahead of actual move day. The quote was on the pricey side, but worth it to use a reliable, established, real moving company (Allied) that delivered our furniture on time."

I was a little skeptical about hidden fees and charges expecting more than what they had previously quoted me, but once I received the bill it was actually less than what I was quoted. "Fantastic cross country move with Marksbery - I would highly recommend them. Very professional and respectful, no damage at all during our 1400 mile move from Ohio to New Mexico. They packed and moved all of our belongings and coordinated moving one of our cars. They sent large enough crews so they finished at a reasonable hour each day. Not cheap, but worth every penny."
