"They lost a prescription. We had to get the Dr to resend it. Called to ask when its ready. Showed up when they said it would be. Of course its still not ready. These places know you have to have them and could care less. This place is horrible."
"I changed pharmacies for convenience. My experience was nothing like convenience, unfortunately. The pharmacy staff were rude and disrespectful on multiple occasions. First, there was a problem with their automated refill request system. I would confirm a refill only to arrive and be told it wasn’t in their system. I patiently tried to explain that the issue needed looking into and corrected, (perhaps some personal information was missing or incorrect), but they repeatedly ignored me, asking if I was waiting for it or coming back later. They never offered to advise the manager of the issue so that they, or an information technology professional might look into it. Therefore, every time I went to pick up my prescription I was told the same thing and asked to wait 20 minutes or comeback later. I’m not an impatient person but this got to be extremely inconvenient, as it would for anyone. Once, a staff scanned a controlled medication I had requested to be refilled. They attempted to pass it to the wrong person, without having checked identification. When the mistake was discovered, however, instead of notifying a manager they simply put it aside, leaving it in their system as “picked up”. When I came to pick it up, two days later, I was argued with and scolded, sternly, stating the same thing 3 times: You picked it up on Friday!”. (It was now Sunday.) This, by the pharmacy manager, who then realized, after the scolding, that it was an error of another associate. And, I would have to wait 20 minutes while he got it ready. I asked information about what happened, trying to clarify it. The manager began, very angrily, telling me “your problem is you don’t like to wait!”, and he very clearly told me , “it seems we can do nothing to make you happy! Why don’t you just change to a different pharmacy!”. I told him I would go home, (having walked there with our Pomeranian), and return in our vehicle. He avoided me when I returned. No apologies. I contacted their customer service team to complain, after the first angry episode, in June. I contacted them repeatedly after this horrible experience persisted, a staff attitude problem, that, even after an apology from the GM, didn’t improve. On my last visit, there were 4 employees, counting the pharmacy manager. They proceeded to act like a bunch of hyenas, laughing and painstakingly trying to extend the simple process of picking up one’s prescription. My spouse was with me, witness to their behavior. My spouse insisted to pickup any medication for me in the future. I decided to change pharmacies the next day. I cannot express in words the stress I was forced to endure by this ongoing problem, from changing pharmacies in May, until now, late November. It has been horrible, and it’s extremely unbelievable that any business, especially one dealing in healthcare, would tolerate management and staff who behave like these."
"I am finally officially fed up with this location. I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for almost a year after my insurance stopped allowing me to go to Kroger. Staff there literally just hate their job and are so rude and unhelpful - and it is not just one or two people, its all of them. They try to make you feel stupid when you ask questions. They close unexpectedly during the few hours they claim to be open. They are always “out of stock” of certain meds. Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back when I was asking questions, my phone rang in my passenger seat so I turned to silence it, and turned back and the technician had hung up the phone and walked away. I have talked to management before about the behavior of the staff and they don’t care either. I’ve switched all of my prescriptions to a new pharmacy."
"Stopped by here to pick up a few items and am always glad that no matter which location that I shop it always runs smoothly! The stores are all pretty much laid out the same and Walgreens just seems to have the knack of fielding first rate employees that are always friendly, helpful and eager to help you out! As Always, Enjoy!"
""THE CASHIER LICKS HER FINGERTIPS TO COUNT OUT MY CHANGE!" You guys should supply your cashiers with Eflen. It's a product most cashiers have at their registers to moisten their fingertips when counting stubborn sticky bills. It's disgusting and unsanitary, to say the least when your cashier licks her fingers to count your change out! Money is filthy, but why do I need to touch her fresh salvia on top of that?!?! This wasn't a young person either. This was an older woman, whom I would think would do better than that. I understand she shouldn't have to supply tools herself to work as a cashier at Walgreens, but this answer wasn't to link on her fingers."
