"The Aldi experience is unusual to say the least. I have been in an Aldi in 7 different countries (Germany, USA, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Italy and Austria) during my life and I can say without hesitation, the Aldi 2998 in Newport, SC is by far, the worst. The majority of the staff here is oblivious to customer service. 12.23.23 - The slow guy operating the register has to be told to request an additional register to be opened when 13 carts are in line wrapped through the freezer section. Then, the staff does nothing to restrict the people walking up and breaking in line. I suppose they prefer the customers argue among themselves. The past 11 visits, I have left my items and walked out 7 of them. I then made my purchases elsewhere as a direct result of not having registers open. The sad part is, we were really excited when this new Aldi arrived. Soon we learned they have limited product selection & Aldi Find selections than the other 3 in a 20 mile radius, the shelves are not organized as nicely making it more difficult to find products, prices are missing, vegetable/fruit quality is questionable as we have purchased bad apples, pineapples, peppers, onions etc.. in addition to the registers being backed up regularly. Maybe you should focus on a proper management and staff training as it has only gotten worse in 2023."

"I love how clean it is and less crowded. Compared to other stores, the prices are good. Not all prices are better here but on specific items. Their vegetables are good too."
