"The store is a great store if you just need to run in for something forgotten or needed for a quick meal or a unexpected gift or last minute ideas. It has a lot of items crammed into a small space. It is clean just cluttered. It is some what organized and full of items."

"I stopped at this Dollar General because I had a return and some time to kill between appointments in the area. I stood in line to do the return and upon reaching the front of the line I was told the person that was at the register couldn't do returns and had to fetch the manager. The manager came to a different register, the original associate pointed me in his direction, and the person behind me in line stepped up to the register that couldn't help me. I stepped down to the register with the manager assuming that he was there to do my return. He was but due to the line I was told that I would have to step to the back of the line.... again. So back I go. 6 people in line behind me. 2 with shopping baskets with quite a few things in them and me with my one little item to return. 17 minutes after the manager came to the register to return my defective item I reached the counter again. I expressed my frustration at waiting in line twice to return this item and honestly had I not been laughing at the ridiculousness of it I should have left when I had to get in line behind people that were not even in the store when I was in line the first time were in line in front of me. He was unsympathetic and quite rude actually. I didn't expect him to grovel but maybe some words beyond "is it broken" would be nice in a human interaction. Especially one in a customer service position. I've learned my lesson. Next time I want cheap stuff, I'm sticking to my normal Dollar General and the amazing customer service reps they have there. Never will I stray again."

"This store is always cleaner than the Family Dollar in the area, plus staff are inviting and friendly. Checkout seems to take a little longer as usually a glitch with registers... but better than fighting for a parking spot and walking through Kroger for laundry detergent!"
