"We’ve had great experiences visiting this office. The doctors, nurses, and staff have always been kind and knowledgeable."
"We have been coming here for 10 years and I should state that Dr. Gutman is wonderful with our children. However, I can't say the same for some of the staff and nurses. Over the last year or so there has been a certain level of rudeness and insensitivity. Today we called because our daughters have been fighting fevers on and off for days. My wife called the office to get input and was transferred back to a nurse (2/10/24 @ 8:46am). When she explained to the nurse that she was hoping to verify whether or not she should bring the kids in, the nurse laughed at her and said snarkily, "You do realize that we have zero available appointments across 4 different offices right?". This was said before my partner could even get out the symptoms of our children. It was incredibly disrespectful and short. This level of "support" has been experienced on multiple occasions and while we typically are not ones to leave reviews, we felt like we needed to in the hopes that there will be improvements. The unfortunate alternative is of course to find a new pediatrician."
"The front office staff and phone receptionists are some of the rudest people we have ever encountered. On a routine basis, they refuse to schedule and make the nurses schedule appointments. They refuse to assist when you arrive for appointments. They immediately provide attitude rather than solutions. I'm not sure if it's worth getting to the doctors if we have to continue to deal with these receptionists."
"I have a question, does primed let go patients that refuse vaccines? We have primed pediatrics for the past 11 years. They took care of my 3 kids. We love how convenient they were especially when my kids got sick. Dr Sonny is a amazing Dr and my kids love him. Moreover, I love the Saturday schedules intended for sick patients. I was frustrated because we decided no more shots for the kids it seems like they have nothing to do with us. Usually, they will send a paper every year giving heads up for the upcoming appointment or if the child is up for the check up. I just don't know what is going on."
"My experience with this pediatrician’s office is a solid average. The nurses, doctors, and receptionists are all friendly and professional. I have never had a single issue with scheduling an appointment or having an appointment canceled on me like some of these other reviewers report. The office is clean but boring as all get out, especially for little kids. No toys or books or even a tv to watch while you wait, and this is an issue for me because you have to wait a LONG time. It seems they are always behind. My husband once had to wait 45 minutes in the exam room with our rambunctious, bored 3-year-old and 1-year-old. I frequently have to wait 30+ minutes. It is a nightmare to try to keep them entertained for such a long period of time in an exam room filled with nothing but medical equipment and computers and things they’re not allowed to play with. The nursing staff are aware of the problem and offer snacks and stickers if the wait is abnormally long, but some toys and books would be better. Or they could just be on time. If you go with this office, don’t bother showing up early or even on time because you will be punished for it by being made to wait even longer."
