"I have 2 children that Dr. Rivera treats. In the beginning I was hopeful that he was going to help my babies finally have a normal life. They both have UC and have been suffering for years. But no. He and Parkview are just out for money from my insurance and our family of 8. They send tests I to out of network labs so we have over $3500 in extra costs even after deductible is met. My son's increased dose of his medication was not approved by our insurance over and over so they want to wait until he gets sick enough to be hospitalized to treat him (nooooo) you are supposed to help to keep him out of the hospital. Update: The hospital system and billing practices has not changed but as long as they Keep Dr. Rivera Rivera, it’s worth it!! No amount of money would be too much for what he has done for my kids. Especially the sickest one. He has changed her life!! I pray he never leaves."
