"Do you want to go to the hospital from Cedar Point (leaving the park in an ambulance) and be slapped by a bill....? Well, I didn't. I'm on disability and (honestly) have to make major financial decisions every month to try and live off of $1,235/month... I sent them proof of that.... and now a bill for $75 went to a collection agency. ...with no description of what was even handled by "Er-Doc Inc" during my few hours at Firelands... I won't pay. apparently the $785 my insurance paid wasn't good enough for ER-Doc to want to kill my credit over $75. Now--and I'm being 100% serious--if I ever leave Cedar Point in an ambulance at the persistence of their medical team...... I hope they're paying the bill. I also got bills from: Percision Imaging, and the Ambulance company.... While you may be questioning my policy coverage... They were billed over $500,000 for brain surgery in 2021. They paid over $250,000.... And I paid $100. No joke."

"Took my daughter to ER in 2017, gave them my insurance information. I get a court summons in 2022 to pay them the full amount, they claim there was a lapse in time with my insurance. Been with the same company for 15 years! Not paying! Total scam!"

"The Doc's in this corporation practice bam bam you are out of here medicine. They are known for having the nurses bring the discharge paperwork at the same time as they bring the pain and nausea medicine they ordered 3 hours ago. So you are going home still feeling rotten."

"ER-DOC, inc. is a scam company. They will send bills without explaining what you are being charged for, refuse to go through insurance, and send you to collections stating they are "Firelands Hospital", although Firelands sends their own bills. In my case, despite fully paying my ER bill, this "ER-DOC" company sends me bills with no itemization or explanation as to what I am being charged for: Just a letter saying "pay this amount" with no explanation. They sent me to collections saying they rendered Emergency room services, despite my bill being fully paid."

"I had an issue with the hospital taking down the wrong city for my address first, which led to problems with ER-Doc Inc which I thought was my only issue. However, I was wrong. My insurance enrollee ID was also transposed somewhere along the line. I finally received a bill from a collection agency over a year after my actually hospital visit. I received this bill because my claim was denied and I was never sent a bill. I got in contact with ER-Doc Inc and found that ID was wrong and gave them correct one. They sent in another claim. 4 months down the line I receive another collections bill. I call ER-Doc Inc to no avail. I finally called my insurance, who never once received a claim. They got in touch with ER- Doc Inc who was still using the wrong enrollee ID. I should have never had to gone through this high stress situation. And the fact that the only people willing to help is my insurance is sad. I will not use the hospital system in Sandusky again."
