About the Business
Family Health Services, located at 620 East Water Street in Sandusky, Ohio, is dedicated to providing top-notch medical care to the community. As a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we offer a wide range of services including primary care, behavioral health, dental, and nutrition services. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurances, and offer a Sliding Fee Schedule for those who qualify based on family size and income.
Our upcoming launch of the Family Health Services Medical Center and Pharmacy at 149 E. Water Street will bring much-needed access to quality healthcare services to the residents of Erie County. With state-of-the-art facilities and a team of experienced medical professionals, this center will provide primary and preventative care, as well as specialized care for chronic illnesses.
We recently hosted the Family Health Services Golf Classic, a successful event that honored first responders and military personnel on September 11th. The proceeds from this event will support our local heroes and contribute to the development of the new medical center and pharmacy in Sandusky.

"Idk what happened here, and I understand everyone including doctors have off days, but what was said to my Grandma was wrong and awful. She was told to “seek a priest” instead of continuing with her doctor. If she would have listened 6 months ago when it was told to her, then she would have died. Safe to say she’s still around and happy that she is. I won’t name out the doctor but you know who you are as you were my doctor too."
"I love my doctor at family health services. I cannot say how much I do love her because my doctor knows everything about me she doesn't judge me she taste good care of me and 95% of the time if I need to get in as an emergency they fit me in. I would recommend Miss Laura to anybody"
"I've had several appointments here now to address a number of issues, and honestly this is the best experience I have had with any medical office. I often have felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously with past Doctor's offices. Jennifer Richardson is different. She didn't make me feel like my issues were exaggerated, she didn't rush. She took action from the first appointment to start addressing the problems. I'm really grateful for Family Health Services, and the staff at the Water Street location. I know this is a tough field to work in and in the past couple years has probably been so stressful. I just want to thank you for the work you do."

The staff are courteous and personable, always ready to explain if you have questions and always willing to address concerns. I am so impressed, I now have 2 of my family members also coming here, and they are just as happy with their care."
