Nicole Swain, PsyD, ABPP

Nicole Swain, PsyD, ABPP is a renowned pediatric psychologist located at 215 West Bowery Street, Akron, Ohio, United States. Dr. Swain has been practicing since 2004 and has been with Akron Children’s since 2012. She is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has completed specialized training in clinical child psychology and pediatric psychology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, respectively.

Dr. Swain has a special interest in treating children and adolescents with acute and chronic medical conditions, traumatic brain injury, and rehabilitation psychology. She is certified by the American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Swain is a member of the American Psychological Association, The Society of Pediatric Psychology, and the Ohio Psychological Association. She has also published numerous articles, abstracts, and book chapters, and serves as an associate professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
