"As always, Professional Pet Nanny took excellent care of our kitties, Minnie, Cecil and Samuel, including playing with them each time they visited, which was twice a day! They also took care of the mail and our plants, which were so happy. Most of all, we have peace of mind knowing everything will be perfect when we’re back home."
"1. I have automatic feeders and an automatic litter box for my two cats. That being said, the job is easy, I asked her to regularly change the trash bag for my litter robot. Kyle changed the litter robot trash bag only once, and put it in my trashcan to sit in my apartment for a week. I returned to find a dirty apartment with multiple areas that had dried throw up on the ground that looked like it had been there for several days. The litter robot is also in a terrible condition and my cats were having trouble using it. The litters were everywhere. Kyle also used my personal mug to feed the cats wet food, and didn't clean it after putting it back on the shelf. It was very frustrating to see the condition of the apartment when I returned home from vacation. 2. Dishonest about being a day late for two appointments. No explanation or communication after being late. 3. Be aware that if you stop using the service and request for your key to be returned. You will be billed $12 for them to mail your key back to you "per company policy". However I was unable to find any mention of this in the service agreements beforehand or in the rates listed on the website. ————————————————————————— This is update according to Kyle’s response. I will of course never use your service again! You overfed my cat catnip which caused they puke and leave my apartment a mess. Also, NO the litter robot is not cleaned at all! The litter is low and you didn’t take out their poop bag in time that cause the machine have trouble working. And you leave other poop bag in my trash can rotting. Lastly is the key, you never return my key although I clearly indicated in the text I will never use your service again. Please stop gaslighting and do better!"
"Flaked on me. We set up a time for her to come meet the animals and see where everything was kept, and she spent an hour here, seemed very enthusiastic about the animals and the sit. Less than an hour after she left, I got a canned email confirming the sit, saying “Your Services Have Been Confirmed by Professional Pet Nanny, Inc.” And then about eight hours later, I got a canned text saying the opposite, no explanation, just “Thank you for your inquiry for Pet Care. I've reviewed my Fall schedule. We are unavailable for service to your home.” Thinking there must have been some mistake, I immediately called to check; no response, so I also texted. Never got an answer to either the call or the text, it's been several days. Really shocking, as she’d seemed to be professional when we met. I’m relieved I hadn’t already left town and had her flake in the middle of the sit, but buyer beware, I guess. In retrospect there was a bit of flakiness from the start – canned emails saying they were unable to “create an account” for me on their site, when I replied to the email asking about that there was no response, finally got hold of her by phone to get things started. I figured it was just a glitch in the online system, but maybe it was a symptom I should have viewed with caution. ETA: After sorting for 1-star reviews and reading through the company's typical response (which seems to be "We hear your disappointment as we suspend service to your home) I feel like I dodged a bullet."
"Kyle did a wonderful job watching our 10 year old golden doodle for overnights and day walks! Kyle is very details and wants to know everything about your house and dog to make sure nothing could go wrong! Our dog has cancer and Kyle made sure to meet all of his needs! 100 percent would recommend! She does a fantastic job and even updates you every few hours!"
"My cat requires intense play, twice a day visits, and he gets lonely easily. He also requires spotless litter boxes because of a history of urinary crystals. For three years, I have been able to rely on the nannies to take care of Ed. They come twice a day, send pictures, and put on music for him. I never worry if he’s ok. I come home and it’s obvious he has been cared for by cat people. They’ve accommodated last minute trips for family emergencies, come to my house in a blizzard, and always been trustworthy. When Ed hears Kyle’s voice, he comes running and he cries when she leaves. My cat loves her deeply. If you want a cat person to care for your cat, I can’t sing high enough praises."
