"Older hotel. Seemed clean until I looked at the sink. Someone trimmed and the cleaning person missed it. Beds were clean and comfortable."

"Stayed 2 nights with a friend. I wanted clean and I got CLEAN. Every thing we needed. Small note: the soap provided needs to be bigger (picked some up at Family Dollar). That bathtub could use some traction strips, but I understand the cleaning issue. I was happy and will stay again ."

"We visited for the races at Eldora. The couple that owns & runs the place was very nice & sweet. The building is older, the set up is older, if you’re looking for fancy food or anything this isn’t the place. But if you’re looking for a small town family “ma & pop” feel this is it!! We didn’t need anything fancy just somewhere to sleep. Had Wi-Fi, tv, shower, fridge, coffee, anything you’d need. We’ll definitely stay here again!"

"I called a few days in advance to get a set rate for our construction team, when we got there I was giving directions over the phone. The male manager came outside, I didnt even know what was going on when he approached my vehicle as it was dark out and I didn't feel comfortable rolling my window down because the hotel looks a bit creepy as it is. He asked me if he could help me so I asked him if I could help him since he was the one that approached me, he then said well I'm just making sure you're getting a room if not so you can leave my parking lot. This hotel was empty so it wasn't like I was hurting the business. I told him if he didn't mind I was finishing up my call and I would go in so we could talk, he said that was rude of me. I was mind blown when he told me I wasn't going to be able to get a room because he got offended that my call was more important than him. Lady at the desk was very kind and was also the manager, I have nothing bad to say about her as she was very helpful with setting us up with our rate. But now I'm down the road paying more money but worth it for the great customer service."
