Holiday Inn Cleveland Northeast - Mentor, an IHG Hotel

"Not happy at all... when i rent a room with an 11 o'clock checkout i do not expect my room to be tossed at 10 o'clock just because i went across the road to get breakfast.... now here i am in a open bathroom stall pooping with 5 other guys... nice holiday inn!!!! If i pay for a room..its mine until i check out! Not happy. Not at all."

"Super clean rooms!! Comfortable double queen beds! Quiet! Professional staff!! The food at the onsite restaurant was very good and affordable! I had the salmon on a cedar plank, baked potato and Ceasars salad. A free hot buffet breakfast with everything from scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, potatoes, etc., was available from 6am -9:30am. There is a free coffee station at the front desk that is available 24 hrs. I was very happy overall with my stay!!"

"Me and my fiance have been trying to reach the lady in charge of hotel blocks for our wedding for several weeks now and have left a number of voicemails. I believe she may not know she had a voicemail at this point. We've expressed that she does not return calls to the front desk who had to take our reservation block details after repeated calls to get a hold of her, but when a we called to ask a few questions, they could not find the block and say we now have to talk to this lady, I believe he name is Carly. Extreme disappointment as we already coordinated a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off from this location to the venue just down the street."

"I travel a lot with my husband & we usually stay at Holiday Inn Express. This Holiday Inn location was convenient to a job he was working on so we stayed here. This location was a pleasant surprise, it offered the conveniences of an Express and the quality of a regular Holiday Inn. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The beds are indeed a bit high off of the ground, but it was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in at an IHG hotel, as were the pillows. We had a great night's sleep. Location was convenient. Lots of choices for restaurants. Lots of shopping nearby. The common areas in the hotel were immaculate and lovely. Complimentary breakfast was offered, which was a pleasant surprise since you don't usually see that at a regular Holiday Inn. The incidental charge was a bit steep ($100, most locations hold $50) but didn't cause any issues. The price seems to be a bit higher than other hotels in thr area as well, but it is a very nice location with extras. We would definitely choose this location again if the price is right."

"Overall it’s not the best experience with my stay, could not sleep heard snapping noise all day and night from heater furnace in room on wall inside of the room, I brought that issue to front desk and manager and showed them photos and short video. See photos…..She said she will have someone look at it sometime today…… I can hear everything outside of my room and upstairs someone (housekeeper) vacuuming upstairs above my room, walls are paper thin!!! Can’t sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Found few stains on towels, not pleased with that. Didn’t use it.!!! will not be coming back here ! Not happy customer…….not considering coming back here after 12/23! Thankfully, manager was very understanding and offered to put me into different room, was very good. On the other hand, I did not appreciate when someone called my hotel room phone letting me know about the review while I was trying to sleep after working 3rd shift!!! Very disappointed!! I’m trying to sleep before I go into work in evening. I don’t plan on coming back here!!!"
