"I could not of asked for a better doctor through my pregnancy and delivery. My son's birth was traumatic to say the least and Dr. Harrison and her team did a wonderful job keeping me calm and assisting in delivering a healthy baby boy. I feel like I can discuss anything with Dr. Harrison and her team!"
"I have now had two beautiful babies birthed by Dr. Harrison, and both experiences were fantastic. Doc listened to all of my concerns, always kept me calm, and has excellent bedside manner. She even literally drove through an ice storm just so I could have her deliver my second born (talk about a dedicated health professional)! On top of that, her nurses and team are super sweet and always show they care about you. I would and always will recommend her!"
"Dr. Harrison overlooks a lot of serious issues that need to be addressed. She doesn't take medical concerns seriously and doesn't create a personal experience at all. While pregnant seeing her it was very scary and stressful as she never addressed my medical issues that I had in the past, she just pushed them aside. After I did research and found a new OB I was shocked at all the things she ignored. My baby and I were saved by our new OB, it scares me to think what would have happened if we stayed in her care. I personally think she would be smart enough to give birth control to patients but I wouldn't seek her care further than that. She needs some serious medical training and education. That is why she gets 1 star from me."
"Reading other views, I must agree that Dr. Harrison and her team are indeed very sweet. For that, I give her the one star. I completely put my trust in Dr. Harrison, and I believe 100% that that was a mistake. A grave one. She failed to diagnose intrauterine growth restriction with my daughter - said that because she was in the 14th percentile for growth (a drop from the 58th percentile previously), my daughter was fine and warranted no further testing since anything above the 10th was "okay" (even though I had had an NST due to decreased fetal movement just the week before). Several days after Dr. Harrison told me that my baby was "fine," she died. She was stillborn at 38 weeks. Dr. Harrison, on the absolute worst day of our lives, lied and told my husband and me, with our daughter lying in a "Cuddle Cot" to keep her body cold right next to us in the room, that since there were no other apparent issues, my daughter's death was "just a fluke" - "probably just a cord accident." We were discouraged from having an autopsy done as she said this was "rarely" helpful in determining a cause of death. It was later determined and confirmed by more than one (more experienced) doctor that my daughter was growth restricted, likely due to her very small placenta. But by all means, if you are looking for a doctor who is "kind," listens to your concerns, and answers all of your questions, Dr. Harrison is your gal. I just hope you are researched and educated enough to be able to ask the right questions, because I apparently was not."
"Dr. Harrison is truly a wonderful doctor, and I couldn't be happier with my experience with her. After past issues with doctors being insensitive, I sought out a caring doctor with good bedside manner to see me through my first pregnancy, and Dr. Harrison provided exactly that. From the first appointment to my 6 week postpartum appointment, she made me feel like she valued my thoughts and never made me feel like my questions or concerns were silly or unnecessary. Even though she has a full patient load, she never made me feel like she needed to rush out of there like a lot of doctors do. My husband and I were confident in her abilities and trusted her completely when it came time for delivery. Her encouraging words and excited demeanor (along with the nurses') helped tremendously in the birth of my son. I am so grateful I chose Dr. Harrison and her team for my first pregnancy!"
