"Unfortunately I would not recommend this cancer center to anyone. On several occasions I have been misdiagnosed. I was never offered or made aware of life saving treatment available until I reached out to other hospitals and oncologists. The palliative care team is a joke. Again, only offered meds that dealt with painful side effects when I reached out to other doctors. The doctors are unavailable and seem to vanish by 3:30pm everyday. The support staff is very young and inexperienced, offering little to no help."
"They took EXCEPTIONAL care of my husband. I felt comfortable going to work because he had a great team, and they didn't make him want for anything. He made it through and I praise them."
"I have just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and there is not one single surgeon who can perform my surgery in a timely manner. They are booked out 4 weeks and one wasn’t available until July!! So, I was referred to an Indy surgeon who is not in my network. Looks like I will be going to DuPont Hospital. So much for having a huge cancer institute practically in my backyard!! The Packnett family should be embarrassed by this travesty!"
"Very nice atmosphere. The greeters are very pleasant and nice every time I arrive. They greet me with a smile and complement my out fits! The treatments are normally good. But this time I felt weird after. She Checking for blood work and a CT and PCI. I think I may have overdosed on the dye. They made me drink some and then injected as well. So I should have did one not both. I have pain on the top of my head the next day it was down to my left side. I will talk to the doctor about that very soon."
"Parkview does not care about patients. The staff knew that my mother had an aggressive form of cancer that would kill her within weeks. They had viewed and released her test test results and the doctor lied and told her family doctor that she had been given her results via phone call. He never communicated with her or our family at all. She died on the day that she was supposed to go to an appointment for answers. A simple phone call could have entirely changed the quality of her end of life care. If you know someone had days to weeks to live, you tell them. Even if it means you have to stay an extra 10 minutes to make a phone call. This corporation will not get one more penny from my family ever again."
