"My dog was nearing the end of her life and I wanted to get a refill on her pain meds - at least a few days supply, so we could make it to our appointment with the specialist. I called three times over two days and left messages (we live over an hour away so going in person really wasn’t an option), literally all I needed was for a doctor to call me back and they never did. We went to emergency vet that night and ended up having to put her down. After spending almost $1k with them I felt they could have at least done something as simple as that for us. We won’t be back."

"Their waiting room was absolutely PACKED with dogs, and there was one big dog with a bad kennel cough in the same tight waiting room as all the healthy and vulnerable dogs. They were way busier than they could manage. It was so loud in their small waiting room that the receptionist and I really couldn't hear each other. And the doctor who saw my dog, Dr.Schuman or something like that, really came off as if he didn't like dogs at all. He was rough and insensitive about my dog being nervous. Very short and to the point and in and out in 2 minutes and then they asked me to wait for a quote for a surgery and I was waiting in the room for almost 40 minutes before they popped back in to say they needed the room and I could wait in the lobby."

"Great service. Had a very limited budget, especially right before Christmas, and they still treated my cat, who had a UTI. Also found out she has a flea allergy and gave her stuff for it while staying within budget. Definitely recommended."

"Nothing short of amazing. The staff is amazing they treat you and your pet like family. I can’t even begin to tell you how empathetic and supportive the Northside veterinary staff was to my pet, my family, and myself during our time of grief. My dog of over 13 years was ill and there was nothing that could be done for her other than not continue to allow her to suffer. They handled our situation with a care I have never experienced. I’ve seen other reviews talk about price but all pet care is expensive. I feel as if their prices were fair, and cost is given before each procedure. I can’t thank this staff enough for everything they have done. They even sent a sympathy card. Thank you Northside Veterinary staff from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate everything."
