"It seems they do pro bono work but, do check for which services they do for free and it is income based."
"I called, and the message said to go to the website, I wanted to speak to someone."
"Great people and mission. I can not say enough good things about CLSMF. Their platform is one of passion and integrity for the most vulnerable in central Florida. Great career opportunities for anyone interested in helping people in need of civil legal services."
"There isn't a reason why there isn't a voicemail set up for this company or why they don't have a call back feature. You have to redial like it's 1980. It can take 30 minutes of redialing just to get through and then you have to wait another 30 minutes in the phone queue. Then you have to share everything about yourself to an intake employee who isn't an attorney and could share all of your information with anyone, anywhere. I understand they need to know who qualifies but there's no reason to share financial information over the phone with someone who isn't an attorney. THEN they pick and choose who they will assist. If you're actually selected they will give you the worst attorneys in the area to work on your case. I've seen public defenders with more passion. The attorneys aren't actually expecting to go to a trial or file anything. They're basically mediators and will share personal information about you to the opposing side, even when it isn't necessary. I had an attorney who was egotistical and led me down the wrong path for my case at least two times. It was a nightmare, a waste of time and it only gave the other side more ammunition because they could sense I was dealing with a dud of a lawyer. I know times are hard but you would be better off filing your own paperwork or using another organization. I also had a friend who used them once before and it didn't end well for him either. He tried to use them again since they were the last attorneys with the case and they denied assisting him although he qualified. They will destroy your case and then refuse to correct their mistakes when their little mediation contracts don't work out. Stay away from them unless you're desperate."
"They were very helpful and assisted me with completing the required divorce documents in order to file the case on my own. The reason for the four star ranking is because I had a lot of trouble getting through the recordings to get connected to a live person. Calling in ends up being very time consuming."
