"I was given a quote for two new units and ductwork. I decided to get the two new units but hold off on the ductwork because I couldn’t afford ($5,000 to replace “what they could reach”) what had been quoted. On the day the job was finished I told the installers that the units were not working because it was 78 degrees in the house and it would not cool off. They assured me both units were running and I should have gotten the ductwork installed. Next day our cable installers came and let us know that we “have the coolest attics in all of Florida.” The attic was 72 degrees. We decided we probably had to replace the ductwork and called someone else to give us a quote on ductwork only. Upon inspection, it turns out that the installers from GK DID NOT even hook the ductwork back up to the new units. Not just ONE unit but on BOTH units. They did this deliberately. Our new units were literally blowing straight into the attic. That’s a terrible way to punish us because we couldn’t afford to buy ductwork. I would never recommend this company. In my opinion they’re criminals!!!! Im giving one star because I was forced to give at least one to post."
