"First off- don’t believe any of these five star reviews. Management gives $5 Starbucks cards out for 5 star reviews. I wish I could give zero stars. We lived here for three years. STAY AWAY unless you want to deal with the following: ROACHES EVERYWHERE. Once a month management makes you take everything out of your cabinets and closets so they can spray. And the spray does nothing. The building is infested and needs to be burned to the ground. STOLEN PACKAGES. Even though there’s cameras everywhere, Priscilla refuses to check them and everyone knows you can steal whatever you want and nothing will be done. You need to buy a PO Box if you live here and want mail. SO MUCH CRIME AND NO 24 HOUR SECURITY. Look at the news. Someone gets shot and killed right outside the doors, all year long- it’s insane! No security and the homeless hide in the building because they know they can and no one will remove them. Just go look at the bench outside the front now… I’m sure there’s someone living on it or dealing weed, because management doesn’t do anything. SHORT TERM AIR BNB RENTAL. The management rents for one night at a time to horrible people that smoke weed in the elevators, play loud music all night, and trash the community. Look at the Air Bnb reviews for this address. They are horrible. MANAGEMENT WILL NOT HELP YOU DURING HURRICANES AND TROPICAL STORMS! Our first week there we were hit by a tropical storm which caused torrential flooding in our unit. It was a weekend so no one in the office. No one answered any of our calls including when we called the 24 hour emergency line. All of my neighbors experienced this. They do not care. THEY WRONGFULLY KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT. We are getting ready to file in small claims court to recoup what they held illegibly. Beware when you move out. If you like roach infestations, incompetent management, windows that leak when it sprinkles, removing all of your belongings once a month so they can “spray”, and dangerous living conditions… Edwards Apartments is your dream home."

"I visited my friend and her husband here a few weeks ago and I was totally grossed out by the amount of roaches I saw. They were everywhere, from the doorway, the bathroom, kitchen cabinets, sink, pipes, corners. The exterminator company management uses does absolutely nothing to deter the problem. They have to wash their plates and cups out each time with hot water and soap before using because of the roaches. This is not sanitary and just disgusting. It’s like living next to a roach nest. The elevator was unreliable and always a long wait. All three of us are wheelchair users, so we had no choice but to wait for it. It kept by passing our floor. My friend has less than 2 months left on their lease and cannot wait to move from this nightmare. The bad thing is they still have to pay rent to live in these conditions. If you’re thinking of moving to this dump because of the location, save your money and find some place else to live. Unless you don’t mind having roaches as your roommates."

"Living in Edwards has been an amazing experience for me. The managers and people that work in the property are amazing and they always make me feel safe. It is right in the middle of everything so you can walk all around. Whenever you have an issue there is always someone willing to help. I LOVE EDWARDS!"

"My sister has been living in this building for almost 5 years. When she first moved in the building, it was somewhat nice and clean and didn’t have so many roaches or water bugs. But as the years have gone by, the building has deteriorated little by little. The elevators are always breaking down. Therefore disabled people and the elderly have trouble leaving their apartments because of the elevators not working. Management and maintenance really don't do anything. They fixed the problem for the moment but not for the long run. The problem keeps happening at least once a month or more. For the the price that she pays for rent, which is almost $1,600 for a studio, it’s not worth all this headache and inconvenience. The second floor is always dirty, they clean that floor maybe once a month if that. The apartments are crumbling and filled with roaches. They have an exterminator that comes to the building once a week supposedly, but whatever he is spraying is not working at all. No matter how clean you keep your apartment, roaches still come from under your door. There are cleaning ladies that supposedly clean the building, but instead they spend their time socializing on the first floor or smoking cigarettes on the second floor. There has been complaints written to the management regarding this, but the management defends the workers and haven’t done anything about it. The maintenance guy is always drunk and acts like he's doing a lot at his job, but in reality he’s not doing anything. They charge you for the internet in the rent, even if you don't want it or use it. The only thing good about it, is the location, that it’s a block from the beach. But even that is not worth the price or the deplorable living conditions. I do not recommend this building to anyone! I also have pictures to back up my statement. PS They got a notice on the door saying that if they gave a good review on Google they would get$25 Starbucks gift card."

"I just moved in and I’m extremely satisfied with my experience thus far. The apartment design is very functional and beautiful. They thought of everything to make you feel at home. The management and neighbors are helpful. The location is fantastic. I spent the weekend biking, beaching and sunset yoga at the park."
