"I have lived in this apartment complex for 1 year. From my time living here I had some pros and cons. The nature was a sight to see but don’t let that distract you from the roach infestation. My AC beginning of the summer failed on me. I contacted emergency maintenance and they responded with no help. It took them over a week to give me a temporary AC unit when summer temps were scorching above 90 after numerous phone calls. Since the temporary unit wasn’t enough to chill my apartment down, I had to run out and buy another one. It took them over 3 months to replace my main AC unit. On top of all of that, I had many major repairs that took almost a month to repair ex. window and door. With this being said, the roaches were unbearable to live with. I even contemplated getting a hotel just too get away from the infestation. I called every week/month to get this issue resolved. The pest control provided only comes around once a week. I would see two of them grow into 10 after pest control. I even took matter in my own hands by purchasing pest control (roach gel, spray, and sticky traps). Mind you no matter what you use or how spotless your apartment is, you will still see roaches roaming around between 6pm-6am. The trash chutes were also covered in roaches at night time. The cleanliness of the complex was also horrendous. Examples includes: trash left in the parking lots, smelly elevators, over filled trash cans, disgusting trash chute that hasn’t been cleaned in years, and chipped paint in the hall ways. Don’t let the tour fool you, they clean the apartment building before your tour. Please visit this place at night or on the weekends and check the trash chutes yourself. With this being said, this apartment community doesn’t offer you what you pay for and expect. I’ve been always polite to the staff here because they can’t do a whole lot since it’s managements fault who doesn’t care. I understand it is an older building and newly renovated units, but from my experience, I could’ve been treated much better."

"I had a pleasure of getting Elmer as my Leasing Consultant and it was the best thing that could have happened! He is great at his job. Even after I moved into my unit he has always been there to support me with any inquires. He’s the best!"

"STOP!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE! This will be the worst decision you would have ever made if you signed a lease with Emerald Waters! This place needs to be more professional and careful. Staff, except Elmer, are rude and nasty. They need to answer the phone, and maintenance needs to be more active! Additionally, There is no Laundry in the apartments, and the laundry options in the building, Suck! Neighbors need to be more considerate of the use of the laundry machines, and it will take an eternity to wait your turn to wash while the machines are in high demand (Typically nights and weekends). Additionally, Emerald Waters is way overpriced for rent and roach-infested!- Literally "Joes Apartment style" And they do nothing about the infestation but send "An Exterminator" to spray behind the stove once a month! Before my mother moved in, I wish she had listened to the reviews; but she went with the location and the "Price" because she needed an apartment urgently and didn't have time to research first. These apartments are no different than section 8 or housing apartments! Michael, the property manager, is disgusting with his attitude and unwillingness to be of any support and doesn't care about the tenants living on the property. He is very petty and will send you a final bill for every little thing in the apartment once you move out without actually taking acct of the obvious normal wear and tear. Natasha, The leasing agent, is rude, nonchalant, and does the bare minimum regarding being of any support, she always has a stink face and literally avoids tenants to not have to do anything. The only employee at Emerald Waters that I could speak highly about is Elmer. He is an excellent example of what a leasing consultant should be, and he could do much better with another complex. Prior to signing the lease, please speak to the residents who already live there; I promise you! Everyone wants out! Look for other complexes, and if you have no other options, keep only some furniture in the apartment because it will be infested with roaches and impossible to get rid of when you do move! To know me is to know that i am a truly understanding person, and always give the benefit of the doubt, but with this complex, THERE IS NO BENEFIT, RUN!"

"Can’t speak for everyone but I can speak for myself. I’m enjoying my experience living here. All new appliances, quiet, and my unit has a nice balcony view also. It’s nice that a trash butler comes almost every day to your unit too. Can’t beat this price for the location, size, and quality. I was pressed to find a new place after my lease ran up and Elmer was super helpful in getting me in as fast as possible. I got him the info he needed and he got me approved quickly. Was very communicative along the process. Thanks"
