"Older and a little dated. Never had a problem. We have stayed here every year that we have cruised out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Great continental breakfast. Good location to other restaurants and shopping."

"I would say the best part about the hotel was the shuttle driver, very nice and had us laughing a few times on the way. The hotel itself, meh. I knew it wasn’t going to be great I have stayed in them before, this particular hotel just wasn’t very good. Our room was hot because the AC didn’t work. They did ‘try’ to fix it, so it got a little bit better. The free breakfast (reconstituted eggs and mystery sausages) was not good at all, we were both hungry and ate very little. And to add insult to injury if you wanted to toast anything you couldn’t because the two toasters didn’t work. We found out later that it was because the toasters kept tripping a circuit beaker and the kicker, it was not a new problem. Lastly the hotel is in kind of a weird area where it is hard to walk anywhere. No, we won’t stay there again."

"We were told the room was non-smoking, but the room smelled horribly. There were cigarette burn marks on the carpet and other surfaces. The sofa smelled so horrible it was unpleasant to sleep on. The curtains smelled and were torn. The bed was comfortable but there was no mattress and pillow protectors used. The pool was horrendous! The bottom was covered in green slim. It was full of leaves and the property was just neglected overall. It’s sad as this place has tons of potential. We were travelling with a toddler and needed a place to nap him the next day. I asked if we could have a late check out or pay for a day use, the attendant at the counter refused unless we paid for another whole night. Even though I knew the hotel was not full! I could not bring myself to pay for another whole night at this place so we went to the holiday inn express and had a lovely experience. Extremely poor customer service and the place is dirty."

"We stayed a night while our flight was delayed. We were told the room was non-smoking, but there were cigarette burns on the carpet and a smell as though they'd tried to mask the odour. Overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel was lacking. No mattress protector on the bed. Pool looked okay, but in need of a full scrub and a leaf filter. Breakfast was decent and well staffed. We were quite disappointed when our flight was delayed once again and we tried to get a day rate so that our son could nap before the flight and were told a flat our "no." Occupancy did not seem high, so not sure why our business was turned down. Went to Holiday Inn instead and had a great nap, shower, etc. Recommend Holiday Inn over LaQuinta."

"Awful awful awful. When we got to the room, the bathroom floor was not vacuumed as there was pieces of paper everywhere. The bathtub had disgusting black staining around the drain. The walls are also very very thin. If you want a hotel that will give you a good night sleep, avoid this one. We could hear our neighbors brushing their teeth, putting things down on the counter, unzipping their bag, pretty much everything that they did. It was like they were in the same room as us. From 8am to 3pm, we would hear the very, VERY LOUD cleaning cart being pushed back and forth past our room. They went past our room at least 20 times. I wish I could attach a video to show how loud it was. When I expressed my concern, all I received was a “sorry.” I asked for a partial refund because the experience I had was not worth the $450 for 2 nights. $200 would not even be worth it. I have been ignored ever since I asked for a refund. I have called corporate and they said they would have the manager reach out to me. No response! Do not stay here."
