"literally the worst. i was willing to put aside the cockroaches , mold, dust, and poor maintenance service because at least it's a cheaper option for a college student like me. so imagine my shock when i reply to an email saying i had until the end of this month to resign and keep my room, they tell me my rooms already been taken and that email was literally a complete lie. idk how this place hasn't been sued and shut down u guys suck so hard. ** edit due to company response: We have called 3-4 times, and I even visited in office. Each time, we have been told it's my fault for not responding within about 3 days, even though the email I received in NOVEMBER stated I had until January 18th to respond (which was literally yesterday), and that there was nothing to be done because my room has already been given away. Nowhere was I told that I actually only had a few days - I'm not even sure why the email would say a date months in advance if it's a lie. What's the benefit in that? The only reason legal action cannot be taken is because of a TINY TINY disclaimer at the very bottom stating "subject to change". Either way, I will be (forcibly) moving out when my lease ends, so there is nothing further to discuss. I will not be wasting anymore of my time on this matter when you guys have been less than helpful. Thank you."
"I have lived here for about 2 years going on 3 now. An honest review of this place is what I aim to provide. Upon moving in the place was very dirty… probably as you can tell from the other reviews. My family and my roommates family came to help get the place clean and looking nice. After keeping up with most cleaning and decorating the place over the past couple years it is a very cute and comfy apartment. That being said the price is relatively affordable and cheap mainly bc of the outdated furniture , dirtiness , and appliances that always seem to break and need to be patched up by the maintenance staff who are likely overworked and underpaid . In addition to the appliances in my unit our couch is disgusting and was provided by the complex. It has lots of mysterious stains and even cigarette burn holes. I had requested a new couch when an office staff member came to check out the apartment and that request was not granted. Best I could do was buy couch covers . For the most part living here is fine the maintenance tries to get to issues as fast as they can but recently my roommates and I have had breathing issues , upper respiratory problems and I personally have had lots of issues with my asthma. I decided to check the ac air filter to find that it was well… I will provide a picture attached. I was told by the maintenance that it was changed 2 months ago…. I mean you tell me if it looks like it was changed 2 months ago. I mean no disrespect to the staff or maintenance but this oversight caused health issues in me and my roommates and it’s something that needs to be looked at more thoroughly in each apartment and prioritized. I’ve lived here long enough to know that concerns aren’t always addressed or taken into account but still… it would be nice if the complex treated both their staff members , maintenance members, and tenants better. If you move here be prepared to put a lot of TLC into the unit you get placed into… cleaning regularly is a must unless you want bugs, and be mindful of the vents and air filters in your apartment to try and minimize health issues to yourself . I’m giving this place 3 stars bc I sympathize with the staff and it really is a cute place to live and for a lot of people it’s the only place they can afford to live. This world is getting harder and harder to get by in and housing costs are increasing constantly but this complex does have more than a couple issues and isn’t the best it can be… but I’m sure the complex owners know that already … just make sure you know and understand that before moving here. You will have to do a lot of work to make the apartment feel like a home"
"I LOVE IT HERE! STOP THE CAMPUS CROSSINGS SLANDER! the office staff is so friendly and helpful. the maintenance staff is always on top of it. the apartments are too cute. like yeah maybe they aren’t brand new but THEY CUTE! don’t be hating on campus crossings they SLAY! BEST PRICE TOO! they are keeping it affordable even in this economy. also look at them responding to all the hate comments trying to make it better."
"I’m so sad for my child that is now forced to live at CC for the next year. We moved in yesterday thinking the place was cleaned…those were lies. The amount of hair, nail clippings, roachs, dead lizard, besides the damaged walls that were not fixed. I feel horrible for her. Today is ants all over. She called and got an automated text response. The fridge and oven…horrific. Nothing near as nice as the model unit. The bathroom again horrific. Urine stains toilet. Sink is rusted and very slow drain. Again, nothing like model that we saw. I had to bleach and scrub the complete bathroom even though Campus Crossing assured us that a thorough cleaning would be done. If you love your child - think twice about CC. You should pay a little more to get better. The hits keep coming…day 4 and my daughter just let me know the A/C is not properly working and the apartment is hot and getting hotter. What else can go wrong????"
"Cockroaches and ant problems in almost every room, shootings and cops in the neighborhood constantly, black mold all through the cabinets and showers. Roommates tub was actually black with tar and mold stuck to it from years. I totaled my car and they wouldn’t give me another parking pass because it’s their “policy” that they need their old one back off my nonexistent vehicle. So after telling me to park in a guest spot instead of giving me a parking pass they also refused to take off the carport bill that gets added to my statement every month. Maintenance is extremely polite and always fast getting to issues in the house. I will be taking them to small claims this week, and I highly recommend staying away from this complex!"
