"This place is very nice inside because they remodeled but some areas in the apartment still isn’t all the way fixed like it was thrown together. Massive poor communication with the property management. I’ve been living here for 1 year and it’s been a change in management every few months and they don’t have it together . They never answer the phones when you call. And they sit in the office and see the phone rings. Sad. When there’s a hardship when paying rent they never take the late fees of it just add up as if they want you out! And when you call to try and figure out about the fees no one has an answer. Sad. You can even get a slip from them when you need it for the late fees because no one answers the phone or return a call just sad . Why work and don’t do your job . This place has gone down and I will no recommend anyone to move here . Also I was told by one of neighbors that this place uses our utilities that we pay for to run certain light around the complex it’s sad. Please if you move any where in Gainesville let this be your last option for living here in this place . They half do things here and it’s like living in a necative woods . They need to close this place . Definitely do not recommend this for living. I feel sorry for the sick and elderly residents it’s hard for them to reach like my neighbor she was locked out for hours with her heart condition sad . Please do not move here."
"We have been living here for about 2 months. Our floor is covered in glue, and the AC has been broken for a month. The management refused to fix the issues in a timely manner. So, I would honestly read your lease and get a copy of it before you move here. I do not recommend signing with them. Tenga buen dia."
"Edit: 2/21/23 Giving this a solid "4 stars", considering an improvement in community events/engagement, and clear pushes for improving the apartment community. The manager Luz is absolutely incredible, as well. The newly renovated Publix Westgate plaza/businesses, proximity to campus, and general location also supports this rating. Finally, I've also noticed maintenance has improved as well. I think there were some initial staffing challenges, but I wanted to leave an updated review to discuss my most recent experience. The new, renovated units look like they'll be great. Again, the property manager Luz is phenomenal! Edit: 8/9/22 I wanted to update my review, considering the change in ownership to Atrium Management. I didn't think it was possible for the management to become worse, but Atrium Management's acquisition has led to this complex being poorly run at a whole new level. I reported numerous maintenance requests, and didn't receive a response until a week later. One of which, is a major security risk. Another, a plumbing issue and safety hazard. The washing machines are all broken, as of 8/8/22. The pool in Camelot Apartments is inaccessible. The apartment is being neglected, and it is clear that the new management company is only interested in phasing out current residents, renovating, and monetizing or increasing profitability of the units by raising rent prices which is evident from the drastic increase from $730 to $975 rental rates. The current google rating is being inflated by several reviewers who work for Atrium Management, and posted 5 star short reviews. You can see the reviews, and their other reviews. These individuals are rating the same communities Camelot, Village 34, Cazabella, and other owned Atrium Apartment communities which is a conflict of interest for them to be writing a review on Google (and also against Google's terms and conditions). I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for apartments. While close to campus, these units have incredibly poor insultation resulting in very large electric bills, and maintenance requests appear to be taking weeks to being addressed."
"Please run away if you can! I had the bedroom flooded with sewage water 3 times! There are serious cockroach issues. The landlord (Brenda) is rude and does not care about you at all. I cleaned the apartment before running away, and they charge me $235 out of $300 deposit for fake cleaning. There is absolutely no maintenance or any human right there. The laundry room is full of cockroaches and often you'd find them in your laundry. They treat you horribly. I am so sorry but this place was torture to me. The same people who manage Camelot hunt for this place."
"Dont bother trying to rent here. The office is open from 10-1 monday Wednesday and friday and according to the residents that live here that is she shows up. We stopped by Wednesday to see an apartment and get an application waited an hour and no one showed up. Someone told us to try camelot sincd they are the sister community. We go over there and they tell us that she is over at cazabella another sister community. So we go over there. Couldnt find Brenda but the lady who ran cazabella had the keys to village 34 and was nice enough to take care of us and give us an app and show us the model. She assured us that Brenda would be back friday when the office was scheduled to be open again. So here we are friday and my husband and I have been waiting again for this Brenda lady to open the office. Again she is a no show. So we call Camelot and this time they tell us that Brenda is on vacation. I have not even met the lady but so far my opinion is she is lazy and doesnt care about her job or her residents."
