"They should take Quality out of their name. I knew the brand when I booked it, but I chose it based on convenience to the hospital. I knew I wouldn't get housekeeping everyday, but like other discount brands I thought maybe the 3rd night I would get fresh towels and the trash removed. The room was a nice size, air conditioning worked well and the bed was pretty comfortable. I don't think the floor was mopped prior to my stay, the drawers in the furniture could use a cleaning and the water took forever to get hot. It served its purpose but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I like."
"No housekeeping. I was told they only provide housekeeping (giving fresh towels and taking trash) if you stay 4 nights or more. I did not realize that was a thing. Breakfast was underwhelming. Very limited selection. The staff was very pleasant. Could hear everything outside of door, made sleeping difficult when other people stood outside to talk."
"Stayed a couple nights recently and it was interesting. I didn’t have issues with the room except I did have to ask for supplies that weren’t already in the room like toilet paper and soap. The man at front desk was nice enough to bring it. Day 2 I asked for a bar of soap and they had none. At breakfast there was only waffles, as the other stuff was not ordered. Breakfast the next day was also so limited everything was out very fast. They need to order enough. I asked front desk for compensation and heard nothing back. I picked this place as a breakfast incentive and it was disappointing."
"Update: When we had checked out after arriving to our filthy room and even worse replacement room we had asked for a refund and were told by the front desk we would receive our full refund back to our card within a few business days. We waited for a few weeks and still didn’t receive a refund. We called the front desk to check on this and were told by them that they had done everything they needed to do on their end to issue a refund and that we needed to deal with a third party, Expedia, to receive it. We booked our hotel through Amex Travel so we contacted them for help. Amex called the front desk on our behalf and found out that the “hotel” had not done anything to start the refund process. Thankfully Amex was willing to refund us our costs themselves and they would continue to work on getting payment from the hotel instead. Watch your credit card statements closely because they will lie their way out of issuing a refund. When we pulled in we were surprised to see that this was a motel rather than a hotel. The rooms were accessible from the outside rather than inside the main building through a lobby. The parking lot was very poorly lit, extremely tore up, and full of pot holes. Walking into the lobby to check in we were greeted with a sun damaged and stained Quality Inn rug (a terrible first impression). The lobby was very humid and there were long lines for check in. They also asked for the make and model of our car which seemed unnecessary, but we were told it was in case of any complaints or incidents. Not entirely sure what that means. After receiving our key we drive around to the back of the building to our room. We walk in and within 10 seconds there’s a cockroach scurrying across the desk. The room was humid and smelled terrible. The ceiling was full of cobwebs and there was a massive spider. We ventured to the bathroom where there were even more cockroaches chilling on the ground. We went back to the front desk to wait in line again and asked for a different room. They gave us another room no problem. When we went back to that room we were relieved to find that the room did not have a bad smell and wasn’t as humid as the room before. However, when we took another look we noticed how filthy the furniture and mattress were. The mattress looked like it had decomp on it. I can only assume that was mold. The chair had significant water damage and staining. The comforter also had a massive palm sized stain right on top. There were also still live cockroaches in the bathroom. We went back to the front desk and asked for a refund and checked out right away to check in at another hotel for our three night stay. I do not recommend trying to save a buck to stay here. The rooms are way overpriced for the experience you get. Quality Inn, more like Low Quality Inn"
"Clean rooms, comfy beds, quick and polite front desk. Located very central, with a Walgreens, taco bell, and adorable breakfast spot nearby. Unfortunately there is no sound barrier between rooms, and we were placed in between a large family that spread across multiple rooms. They frequently were up having alarms going off, shouting, and slamming doors at 5:30-6am, waking me repeatedly. Additionally, the air conditioner in each room may as well be a jet engine, as it's almost loud enough to need ear plugs when it turns on to avoid hearing damage, my plane ride here was quieter than cooling my room. Can smell other rooms smoking through the vents in the bathroom. If they took more care with scheduling rooms to not separate families, fixed their appliances, and maybe added some amount of air filters it could easily be a 5 star room rating. Unfortunately these show why it is one of the cheaper rooms to reserve in the area."
