Hampton Inn Gainesville

"Convenient to I75 for an overnight along our trip to southern Fla. Rooms & service were as expected for a Hampton Inn but the included breakfast was exceptional; many fresh choices of eggs, meats, fresh fruit bowl, hot & cold cereals, bagels, waffle machine, yogurts, chocolate milk. Breakfast staff were cheerful & kept the area very clean."

"Great location, easy access to the highway and a quick few minutes from the university area. The room was nice and very clean, but the bathroom setup was a little underwhelming. The light switch for the bathroom is in the entrance hallway to the room and there is no vent fan. Elevators are probably ready for an update and the elevator/lobby floors had several sticky spots, presumably from spills. Staff was very friendly. There are definitely a few things to nitpick, but all of my personal needs were accommodated well."

"This hotel should absolutely have a 5 star rating. We stay at Hilton-family hotels relatively often and this one takes the cake. We arrived really late, around 3am. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly warm and kind and got us checked in super quick. The room was 100%, bathroom was spotless, sheet were fresh, floors were clean. Breakfast was, hands down, the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. There was no rush to hurry as the eating window was ending. The staff went out of their way to give all guests an opportunity to get a full breakfast."

"Very clean and well maintained. Wish the quality of the breakfast was better. The eggs were not real comma they were obviously made from powder. Please spend a little more money and upgrade the quality of the breakfast. The coffee was excellent!"

"We stayed here four nights. Front desk staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. The cleaning staff is very aware of guests — hold elevator doors for guests, always greeting guests, rooms and common areas all very clean. Kitchen staff takes get pride in their very healthy breakfast that includes everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Food is always ready, food-serving area is clean and well stocked, tables are clean. There is ample on-site parking. The location worked well for us — very near shopping and restaurants by car. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn Gainesville!"
