Naples Inflatables

"BE WARNED AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My wife called Naples Inflatables a few weeks before our son's birthday and set everything up. Days leading up to the event, we wanted to confirm when they were coming to set up, the time, etc as we started getting nervous because we never heard back from them with regarding the details. We certainly did not want 20 kids to come to our house to only find out Naples Inflatables reneged on their contract as they disappeared after taking our initial deposit. Over a period of four days before his birthday, we left a total of 6 voice mails as all we wanted was a verbal confirmation that were still good to go on the 21st of December. We never received a return call. I then proceeded to call and left another detail voice mail asking for a simple return call with a yes or not as to whether they were coming or not, and if not, we can hire someone else. I left two voice mails and did not receive a return call either. That leaves a total of 8 messages with no response. A customer should not have to call this many times. Furthermore, what kind of service do they offer when nobody answers their phone and doesn't return phone calls. After waiting another day of not hearing back, we decided to call another bounce house company who was the opposite of Naples inflatables. They were very professional, walked us through the process and told us they would show up between 6-8pm the day before the event which helped lesson our anxiety. All we wanted was a confirmation Naples Inflatables that would show up. I don't think that was asking too much even after all the voice mails we left demonstrating our concern. Later that day, my wife finally got a return call - a vague short voice mail from Naples Inflatables that said "sorry I missed your call, I was in a meeting" and she did not address our fundamental question - are you coming or not? My wife called to cancel this order, and the lady, who was extremely rude, finally returned our call. She never returned our call when we wanted a confirmation, but immediately returned our call when we said he wanted to cancel. She said they will not refund our deposit because we did not give 7 days notice, despite this not listed anywhere in writing in our contract. She said she verbally told my wife, but my wife has not recollection. Why was this process not listed on the order? In any event, we called them countless times and it only needed one phone call to say, yes we are coming. We are now fighting with the credit company to get our $50 deposit back. She said she's too busy and doesn't return calls until two days prior to the event. Is this how you run your business? The owner is a paramedic who does not have the time to run this business and lacks the professional courtesy to return her customers calls. A customer should not have to call you 7-8 times and then have them be blamed that they should have understood the policy when it wasn't in writing. I advise everyone to stay away from this company as I will never use them and will tell everyone I know to avoid them."
