"A dead rotting rat was outside our front door for several days. Management was notified multiple times. Dozens of dead cane toads (poisonous to pets) littered around the property, laying in the grass, on sidewalks and in the parking lot. Trash littered around the property on a regular basis. Repeated broken appliances, including the air conditioner that stopped working multiple times. Repeated broken gates causing issues entering/exiting premises and safety concerns. Three young men that we did not know tried to enter our unit during one of those incidents. There were also cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Lack of enforcement for a drug/smoke free community. Unfair rent hikes. Tried to charge $8,880.00 monthly for month-to-month rental. We moved out early do to overall deteriorating property conditions and safety concerns. Property management/owners refused to let us break our lease and leave early even though there were other renters waiting to get into the unit. Our unit sat vacant for over 3 months, and we were forced to continue paying on an empty unit until the lease expired. Disgusting experience that we will continue to share with others. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!"

"Springs at Gulf Coast used to be conscious about security. However, the past month, not so much. We are located right next to Miramar Outlets, which is a very busy mall. Yet, the security gates have open for a few weeks allowing non-residents to come into the community at all hours of the night. They can drive through, break into vehicles, steal packages from the mailroom, and vandalize properties. I used to feel pretty safe, not so much anymore. We pay above the average to live here, we should have security gates functioning at all times...and when working right, only allowing one car entry at a time. Piggy backing should not be allowed. But, that has happened from the very beginning."

"Jessica since my first day here and throughout my stay has been the reason we stayed. No matter what challenges I have faces she always there to assist. Community is a great location with access to everything you need! Randy and Francisco are the top in maintenance and respond quickly to any resident needs."

"I lived here for five years. The apartments are nice and in a good location but way overpriced considering newer options in the area. The corporate management truly does not care about loyal residents who pay their rent on time, take good care of their apartment and don't disturb anyone. We left the apartment spotless but were still charged a $500 fee as they require the apartment to be move in ready when vacating. It's ridiculous to think after five years, they would not need to paint and perform some general housekeeping before the next tenants move in. This is just one example of many over the years where it is obvious they would rather have short-term renters who come and go and they can charge even more. The onsite management tries their best but it is obvious they are not given much authority. The maintenance guys are wonderful (quick and professional service) and pretty much the only area without constant turnover. I did send an email with all of the above to the onsite manager but got no response. So I am posting my first ever negative review (as I tend to keep things things private), but I feel compelled to share so others evaluating the apartments know what to expect."

"I moved with my family since June 2022, and we are very happy in this place, the employees are great , Billy and Brandon as clerks and Randy and Francisco in maintenance are awesome. The Springs at Gulf Coast in estero are absolutely excellent and helpful, the residents are very friendly, and we are wonderfully located in a strategic point in south west Florida. all I have to say is positive about my experience here."
