Reviews
"I have to pray a start to make this review... This people management are very unprofessional, and liers, and I really mean it."
"I have lived here almost 6 years. I was homeless with my child and on waiting list Omayra was able to get me in fairly quickly and give us a home. In these 6 years Omayra and Pat have been nothing but respectful, help, caring and diligent. They’re always making sure your apartment is at par to what it should be and if something is wrong they make sure to have it fixed. They respect and life every single individual in the complex. The apartments have strict rules and regulations to follow the individuals who don’t last long make bad decisions resulting in eviction, however nothing is ever personal with the tenants. Mrs.Omayra and Mrs.Pat work hard to make the complex look good and run good. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today as a mom or individual. I love and enjoy living here and wouldn’t ask for any other managers to run an apartment complex. Rating five stars is well deserved. My son and I love them and love our apartment land I’ll be forever grateful for what they did for us."
"I never had any kind of issues about any of the units I live in from plant city housing, the units are very well maintain. They keep up there maintenance inside and outside the units. It’s very peaceful and quiet. Ms pat ms Omyra and the rest of there staffs have very great customer service skills and they will help u all the way out to the end. Never had one issue. If I call up there and need anything done in my unit they get right to it with no hesitation. I can give them a 10 for there professional skills . I never met a person like ms pat. Since she became management over theses apartments , she did a big turn around for her tenants to make sure we safe and comfortable in our units and areas"
"I would rate a zero if I could, Omayra is so rude and very discourteous and unpleasant to speak with I must have called back at a wrong time or something. this omayra person never spoken to me or meet me in a day of her life and was completely rude from moment of answering the phone and hung up on me and wouldn't let me speak kept talking over me she listened to whatever she wanted to hear and judging my life because my mom and kids father help me it must be against the rules to not get any kind of help from anyone for them to help you even though you've been waiting on that 100 waiting list for the longest time. Im disgusted honestly. If anyone would be able to point me to the direction to speak with the commissionors it'll be greatly appreciated."
"Horribly run mgmt. Leasing agent Omayra demanded I turn off my cell phone when I went to report concern of roach infestation and lack of cleanliness in unit I was to move into. Demanded I sign paperwork that was overlooked in lease and she remained unconcerned by uninhabitable condition of unit. Pest control fumes so strong even in appliances I could not use. Live roaches duration of 2 weeks of me having unit. Refusal to properly clean unit 'to my standard"(roach eggs and excrement not cleaned). Supposedly no other units available but they opened waitlist the day I had code enforcement come out to inspect. Official report done and indeed was a violation. Was forced to leave unit unexpectedly incurring $300+ for uhaul and unsalvagable belongings infested with bugs. Threatened to keep security deposit unless I surrendered key and then after attending pcha board meeting to address complaints, was yelled at and told to shut my mouth, then demanded I "shut up" verbatim by Marlene Baskin. Told her the unit wasnt up to code and she asked "whose code?" I replied, "plant city, hillsborough county, Florida, etc." Talked to like an ignorant person, denied any funds, told not in the budget and lied that I had no other program to make complaint to. Even though I can still make complaint to federal hud program. Executive director Pat Dexter lied and said I refused to live there with even 1 roach egg, even though when I supposedly said that I have witnesses that can state definitively I did not. So infested and fume smell so strong I could not sleep in unit even 1 night. Was called a germaphobe, blamed for leaving door open, a lie, and that I let roaches in, even though they themselves acknowledged an infestation. Took to small claims court with pictures documenting EVERYTHING and even though infestation was acknowledged in court was still denied ANY returned funds for damages or uhaul costs. Other residents told me personally they've fought the roach issue in many other units for years and it's never been taken care of. Low income does not mean stupid and without rights! My son had pneumonia and was in hospital pediatric intensive care for 3 weeks as a young child and ended up with scarred tissue and weakened respiratory system. Inhaler and breathing treatments any time he gets sick. What kind of medical issues do roach infestation cause? Respiratory...germaphobe? I don't think so...please address this because it's dangerous especially to persons with these med issues, on oxygen, etc. Media, as a last resort, should be informed because even after it was addressed thru proper channels including court, it's being swept under the rug. If I were pcha staff, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, in my roach free home while my residents slept in their infested ones. I'll probably get a response that this review is a lie, but who takes this much effort and time to post unless there is actually an issue? ***Pics of unsanitary condition, infestation(live bugs)up until moveout, bugs in belongings, and all my belongings outside of former unit that I was blessed to be able to move back to***"
