"UF and UF housing charged me rent in advance without allowing me to first inspect the apartment, and then provided me an apartment that was broken and malfunctioning in several ways. The kitchen countertop has a broken tiles applied like a patch. The hot water was not working in the bathroom faucet. The bathroom flush was not working. The bathroom paper dispenser was broken. All the smoke detectors had old batteries which died one month after I moved in. UF housing maintenance has become really slow (compared to when I was at Maguire village) because of less personnel, and the personnel who do show up are used for issues that do not affect the residents that UF has labeled as 'priority maintenance'. Additionally, my building is infested with cockroaches, and maintenance pretends like bugs are a rare sight in Corry. There is constant loud noise and blocking of exits due to the needless year long construction UF is doing at Corry. Most vehicles, delivery and movers do not want to come to Corry due to UF's perpetual closure of Museum road starting from 2020 and going on till at least 2024. Most RTS buses have also been told not to stop at Corry Village bus stop to pick up or drop passengers so as to further inconvenience the residents."
"Walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors clearly. But regardless, the best place in town. Great location, amenities, price."
"Nice Community, Great place for family living, child friendly. Excellent view around the community. The apartment officials are friendly. 24 hour front desk facility is provided. In case of emergency, they repond to calls. The apartment has laundry rooms inside corry commons, have children playroom, classrooms as quiet reading place, tv and printing room. Transport is quite easy from this apartment. As, this housing is inside campus, one can always get lively feelings of campus. The greatest advantage I feel is that, lake alice is across the road. I can go for a walk anytime I want with a cup of cofee. Overall: Advantage: * transport is avilable all the time, near to Reitz union and stadium * playground and other aminities * near to lake alice, bat house, have nice view around * laundry, printing facilties * 24 hour front desk assistance Disadvantage: *1/1 or 2/1, none of the apartmentss are spacious. Old modeled buildings still have window ac which is pretty disgusting. * No swimming pool."
"We LOVE living at Corry. Cannot recommend enough. It is extremely clean + very quiet. Highly suggest living in the renovated ones. Night and day difference between the non-renovated and the new ones. Very worth the price difference. Maintenance is very efficient and never takes more than one business day to respond. There is always adequate parking + so much to see within walkable distance. One block away from Lake Alice. Right next to the bus stop. Great for law students."
"I was resident of Corry village. I really loved this place. I specially enjoyed special occasions and many social events arranged by the village community. We loved playing cricket there every week. Most residents are very friendly and they are aswesome neighbor."
