"If I could I would not even give it a one star. Management is very poorly skilled and you cannot get all regional offices or anything they pass back on somebody else so when you need help to discuss issues, they just pass you on not just that the lack of respect for other individuals belongings their trees damaging cars, and it gets passed on to the renter to take care of it, once their trees maintenance or maintenance portly if you have a pet . I would say do not go there the neighborhood next to you is unsafe there’s homeless people running around going in and out of the garbage dump. A lot of drunk alcoholics walking around clearly/safe place. And their management does not care. Yes there is a new management in there but we find her very rude and very short and inconsiderate and battery money hungry. She doesn’t even know how to research things and looking at things they will charge you for things that they have fixed this correctly after he moved out, so do not go there. The floors are weak And feel like a sponge to walk on we have white people move in and out. Also, if you have a pet do not take your pet there, first of all, the pet rent in the security deposit is a joke they don’t do anything with that money they just take your money just found a way to charge you more money for nothing ."

"I am writing this review to inform others of the treatment that I received from Bentwood Apartments. I lived at Bentwood apartments from March 2023-July 2023, and was treated poorly and harassed almost everyday during the time that I lived there. I was involved in a domestic violence situation that resulted in property damages and a criminal court case. I asked the office if the mandatory insurance covered anything since it was considered a burglary, but they stated quickly that I couldn’t use my policy. During that time, Bentwood began to quickly harass me for the funds, even though the police and myself explained that the individual was court obligated to repair it and even threatened to evict me multiple times. Also during my stay, I had to explain the situation with 3 different property managers due to management always changing and they never created a file with the information about the incident, so I had to continuously re-explain the situation every time I tried to come up with a solution. Once I came up with a solution, they would change management and tell me a different reason as to why they couldn’t work with me during this tragic situation, even after explaining that my life was at risk. My attorney reached out several times to advocate for me during this time, but there was many weeks that my attorney nor I received any response in regards to the matter. During the two months that my window was broken, the window was poorly boarded up, allowing bugs and rain to seep through the window on multiple occasions .Not only did I have to live in fear during the 2 months for my window replacement, but after it was repaired, the complex left the wood that was covering my window outside of my apartment for approximately 2 weeks. Their actions in this matter made feel completely unsafe in my environment, as well as creating an easy target for myself and other residents during such a unpredictable and vulnerable time. I provided the office with multiple photos, court ordered documents, a restraining order, and even had my DV organization as well as my attorney reach out to create a solution , but they refused to be understanding of the situation. Due to the circumstances at hand, I had to constantly live in fear everyday and this complex was no where near compassionate nor efficient in repairing the window. After living in the the apartment and getting my window fixed, I was still faced with a stressful situation because they were still trying to evict me. I had many domestic violence organizations reach out to try to pay the balance of the window , but the refused to take the money. After several attempts, phone calls, and bath and forth conversations, Peaceful paths worked together to pay off the window. Even after my window was fixed, I ran into a severe mold issue and the apartment was not willing to inspect the issue , which caused me to be in and out of the hospital several times. Due to everything that happened and my safety, I had to urgently move from the apartment. I was faced with a bill over $3000, even though Biden passed the “Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)” that was put in place to protect women in these situations. I am extremely disappointed that with everything that was provided to them and even both of my attorneys working with me (criminal & civil ), Bentwood continued to show no compassion towards me nor other residents. I will never feel safe or advocate for this apartment complex after this situation and it is clear that they only thing that they are concerned about is the money. I hope that management can change to so others don’t have to have the same experience I did."

"Maintenance on the premises is lacking. Grass is sparse, mostly dirt. The units need power washing."

"I have lived here for going on 15 yrs...Management is great...but I would like to take this opportunity to give loads of thanks to our Maintenance Man John...we had a storm blow down some of our fence 2 days ago..John was "Johnny on the spot" he and Keith worked until 7PM putting the fence back up...this morning early he is already repairing sprinkler system and completing the fence...looking good...John is hard working and has always been there for tenants when needed from small maintenance to big ones...we appreciate John and wish him the very best for all his work and loyalty..."

"Being from out of town, they have made my transition very easy. I was able to apply for my apartment online and even get my lease signed. I was in hurry when I came to move in and all we had to do exchange keys. Management makes it easy for us with a busy lifestyle. My favorite part about living here is that the apartments are single story and the community is super quiet!"
