"Update: 2/14/24- Had a nice conversation with the current manager and will say I appreciate her taking the time to hear me out and actually giving explanations. I do look forward to the plans for this community and the future it holds. Truth to be told, I have had good and bad moments with this apartment complex. There is so much potential with this community, and recently, I can tell the staff want to see a change, especially with Malak. Every time I have had to go up to the office because of some unfortunate situations, she has actually shown me she cares and not just fakes it. This community is naturally beautiful and has so many trees and greenery. But with that being said, there is much this complex can improve on, especially with the amenities and to the unit themselves."
"Moving to Gainesville on a whim and not knowing anyone I feel so lucky to have landed in the community of Legacy at Fort Clarke. The ladies in the front office are so nice and super helpful. Big shout out to Malak for all of her help and beautiful, warm smile every time I walked in the office. Very peaceful and calm apartment community. I highly recommend."
"3 months after move out: they mailed the refund deposit, and it's short nearly $200 without any reasoning, compared to the final notice I received stating I'd get my full deposit. The photos I've attached are WHEN I MOVED IN on my first day. It took weeks for maintenance to fix all of the issues with my unit. My entire time here was aggravating. Ice maker would constantly go out. Windows would leak when it rained. Pest control was non-existent so I ended up spray myself. Mold in the closet destroyed a pair of my shoes. During the last week of my lease, the leasing office gave a random AT&T worker a key to my apartment. Thankfully, I was home to stop him from entering as I had all my belongings out and being packed. I moved out August 2023, and I could not be happier leaving. It took the leasing office 2 weeks to provide details of my move out, but they confirmed I'd get my entire security deposit back. Well... it's nearing 2 months, and the office has still not mailed the check back, AND they are unresponsive by phone and email. I thought I was done dealing with this complex, but I guess it never ends. Don't sign here."
"My experience at Legacy was made wonderful due to Farah. I did incur several issues upon moving in and after letting Farah know, she immediately had them taken care of. This has made my stay very pleasant. Maintenance is also very responsive. There are a lot of amenities and my dog loves the dog park. Overall, it has been great so far."
"From day one Nicole, Zion, and Reily were outstanding, friendly, and professional to work with. I moved cross country and was grateful to call Legacy home. It is a beautiful apartment complex, with accommodating staff, safe and fully gated, and pet friendly. I lived there for 6 month while I was house hunting and was genuinely sad to say goodbye at the end of my lease. Maintenance staff was great to work with- I only needed to contact them for two minor things and both gentlemen could not have been more friendly and professional. On multiple occasions I would see Nicole and Zion out and about around the complex and would be greeted by name, with them often starting a having a conversation to check in. Definitely a family type feel. As a pet owner with large dogs that complex has one of the largest dog parks in the area. In my experience it never seemed busy and was very well maintained. It offered plenty of shade and seating as well as a water/wash station. While I didn’t get to use all of the amenities I enjoyed relaxing around the pool on several occasions. Weekend afternoons were a bit busier but were was always plenty of room to spread out and relax. In addition to the pool, the walking paths around the complex were a great way to exercise outside in a safe area. The apartment buildings and grounds were well maintained. I had a ground floor apartment and was lucky enough to be surrounded by friendly neighbors who also had dogs. I never had an issue with noise, and always felt safe if I arrived home after dark. Overall I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Legacy at Fort Clark to perspective residents. It is a beautiful place to live and the staff, Nicole, Zion, and Reily go above to accommodate their residents and offer any assistance needed."
