"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dolphin Watch property, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I reached out for a reservation, Jan was incredibly helpful and made the booking process seamless. Her exceptional customer service set the tone for the entire stay. The house itself exceeded my expectations. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the Emerald Coast and easy access to the beach. The accommodations were clean, and well-maintained. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway."

"The customer service was great from the very beginning when we booked our trip. Due to a maintenance issue, we had to move homes early in our trip. FunVacay was responsive with the issue and worked with me to get my family into another home within hours. The homes are gorgeous and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were clean and easy to us (lights, jets). The amenities in were well stocked and the kitchen had plenty of cookware, utensils and plates and pans. If you’re on the fence about staying here, don’t hesitate. They have wonderful homes to stay in and you won’t beat their customer service!"

"We loved our stay at “Dolphin Watch!” It was the perfect space for a large group. The private beach was so clean and peaceful. There were a lot of reviews on the gated neighborhood it was in, but we had absolutely no issues. The guards at the gates seemed friendly and I feel like as long as you respect the community and follow the HOA requirements you’ll be totally fine. The only downfall was the “no tents on the beach rule” so expect the added expense for umbrellas. The house had chairs and we brought chairs as well. The beach service company set the umbrellas up each morning and picked them up each night so it actually was more convenient than we had expected…just not to have to worry about the set up and take down. The property management company communicated well and sent text reminders about things like trash pickup and parking rules overnight. The only negative about the house was the “palmetto bugs” which are actually roaches. There were several in the kitchen."

"EDIT……. Less than 24hrs later they have contacted us and advised they were missing a silicone wristband I would value at less than $1 to make, they advised they would be charging us $50.00 for the 1 missing wristband!! We stayed at the Dolphin Watch in Destin (Destiny by the sea) 7/10-7/15 2023, I give this place a one star….when we arrived the trash was not even emptied from the previous persons who stayed there. We walked around and discovered the hot tub was not clean. There were numerous bedrooms where the shade/blinds were missing, inoperable and there was no privacy due to this. Two of the balcony doors would not open or close. Upon calling FunVacay, they advised they would send maintenance out. Maintenance came and advised they were aware of the missing/broken shades in two of the bedrooms but “they had them ordered and there was nothing they could do about it”. They never even looked at the hot tub. In reference to the balcony doors, they were aware of this issue also and said “parts were ordered” and the solution was to “use another door”. Two days into our stay one of the bedrooms started leaking a large amount of water from the ceiling due to a leak with the AC unit and when maintenance came, they didn’t even have a ladder with them tall enough to access the attic. The elevator in the house would not work on level two because the door would keep hanging up. In one of the bathrooms the knob pulls were loose and even falling off. In another bathroom the towel holder fell of the wall. A toilet in one of the bathrooms would not flush properly. There was major construction going on to the house next door and there was no mention of this on their ad like most other companies mention before booking. If you plan on booking this house with a 14 person capacity, be aware there is just 1 standard size refrigerator and 1 set of washer/dryer which ran very slow and took about an hour and 1/2 per load in the washer. Also be aware there was no mention of not being allowed to have pop up tents, baby tents or any shade until after booking. The only think allowed on the beach are the chair sets purchase from the beach rental company for $180 per set per day, just an FYI."
