"Mixed review experience I loved the location. The condo was fully equipped and clean and we had a great view with plenty of space. We would stay at La Playa condominiums again but would not use Vacasa to do it. They only managed one unit in the condo and we happened to be in it. We did get a partial refund from upper management due to all of the issues we had. Paula, the Vacasa general manager in Perdido Key, was great to deal with. I give her five stars. However, local management in Perdido Key gets zero stars.They waited to respond to our concerns for 3 days. We called Vacasa when we arrived and were told we would get a call back shortly but we did not. We couldn't get in our condo when we arrived because we were sent an outdated gate code. An older gentleman in the parking lot at the condo gave us the correct code to get in. We couldn't access our wifi for several days because once again we were given the wrong information. And last but not least we had a broken lock on one of our sliding glass doors in the guest bedroom that could have been accessed by anyone. It was 2 days before we had it fixed and it would have been longer if not for a La Playa employee fixing it. In addition we had cockroaches. Maintenance was sent to put out some bait traps because we didn't want the condo sprayed with chemicals while we were there. If not for Paula, I would have given Vacasa a one star review! Vacasa Perdido Key office management needs customer service retraining."
"Spent a few thousand dollars to enjoy a much needed vacation, only to awaken around 1:30ish in the morning on the second day of vacation by a fire alarm and a message to vacate the building!. Next day, while enjoying breakfast another alarm goes off to vacate the building and wait for fire dept to arrive to give all clear. Which was great news!. The bad news was the level of concern from Myers guest relations...they were awful I called to inquire about why this was happening because it’s jarring to say the least! I called at 8 am and had to call back at 12:50pm because no one called us back to let us know anything, even though they said they would!. And, when I did finally get in touch with some one after being transferred and put on hold a couple of times.. I was told to not let it ruin my vacation and that they have removed alarm, that maybe someone was touching it and also that they do not manage the building so....basically nothing!!! They were so unprofessional and showed no concern. After saying what she had to say..she basically cut me off and said is there anything else I can do for you? That’s it.!!! No real concern for your customer and no real concern about how disruptive, jarring, and inconvenient this all was to the guest of the building. They officially SUCK...and we have used them for the last 15 years. No More! I will not give them another dime of my hard earned...not another penny!! Also, the condo was dirty..you could literally see the dust in the cabinets and the stove and fridge was slick Like some oil or something in the front of it...so I spent the first hour and a half wiping down the place!! And to boot...my son who is in a wheelchair was here with us and we were told not to use elevators because of alarm!!!! They SUCK. DO NOT USE!!!!! Actually a negative star rating!!!!"
"Only rated 1 star because I can't rate lower. Havent even seen my room yet and this is the worst rental experience I've ever had. Intentionally planned arriving near our check in window because we have an infant. Was informed at 3:50pm that I could have the keys but my room wouldn't be clean for several more hours. Compensation offered was 50 bucks to a restaurant down the road. Meanwhile we're stuck with a 6 month old who isn't happy stuck in a carseat unable to stretch out."
"We just rented a condo from Meyer Vacation rentals (June 2020) in Perdido key & let me tell you, our experience was awful! Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00. We were not able to get in our condo until 7:45 p.m.! After driving over 9 hours then having to wait around for another 4 hours was absolutely ridiculous! The office never apologized for any inconvenience or anything. The office didn't even give us the code for the gate or anything! We love to visit different beaches every year and we have always had great service until we decided to rent from Meyer properties. This was our first and LAST time to ever rent from Meyer!"
"Seaspray 622E - Just awful! The place we rented from them was unkept and dirty! We get to the front door the screens on the windows are broken and marred up, we walk in the stove and faucet are broken, counters and floors are extremely dirty, glass table has so much food under it (beneath glass and wood) that we couldn’t eat there, the master shower drain would not empty 9nothing like taking a shower with ankle deep water), under the bed were a pair of slippers from previous guest and so much dirt that I doubt anyone had ever cleaned there. First trip down the elevator we were stuck in it for 20 minutes, by the pool is wood sticking up with nails in it, Meyers is a joke, I would not ever go through them again."
