"Nice place in the Bay but no bay views. Woods all around. Rooms had balconies, which was great and the rooms with king beds were very comfortable. Great hot breakfast provided with keto options such as eggs and sausage as well as hot biscuits and gravy as well."

"I've come to like this place. It is economical and yet does not skimp on the amenities. The beds and pillows have been so comfortable. The Wi-Fi has been appreciated and utilized. Unlike some hotels that use modified TV models to prevent selecting an input, these TVs are quite capable of allowing one to connect their streaming device such as a Roku Stick so that you can access your streaming services. The breakfast holds up to that of the more expensive chains. The staff have been nothing less than very friendly and helpful. I've not had a bad experience at this location. They have a guest laundry here. There are two washing machines and two upright dryers. I clean out the lint traps before use each time. The lower dryer works well while the upper dryer left my clothes mostly wet with both on the same setting and with the same amount of time. I have returned to this location and will again. It is well maintained for an older design and I rather like the old school style of hotel. However, do take note that there is no elevator, so those who are handicapped or experience limited mobility may consider the fact that you will have to use the stairs if you accept a room on the second floor."

"While the room was fine and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, after being there @ 23 days, I had a meeting across town at 10:15am and figured I might end up staying another day - it was to be a quick face to face but I was unsure if I would get back by checkout so I called and asked for a 15 min grace in case I was a few minutes late ... the girl at the front desk was quite snide ( not my first experience with this one) and told me that I would be charged for late checkout ... obviously a financial GENIUS ... so instead of another day's rate, she got to see my backside as I checked out and left. While I was fairly happy with most of the stay - the end has left a BAD taste - and my rating for service is based only on that - VERY disappointed at the end and I'll not darken their doorstep again."

"Room was horrible. Carpet through out the room was wet and room was VERY humid. Ac had mold in it and smelled musty. The bathroom plaster walls were cracking as well as the plaster on the ceiling, not to mention the water stains on the ceiling. Seemed like the room hadn't been maintained since 1980's. Breakfast was really good though. Place needs a thorough overhaul and remodel."

"Breakfast was the best. Real eggs. Biscuits gravy. Sausage french toast sometime. Grits. The best juice ever. Bagels . waffles. Tons of condiments. Breakfast gentlemen were awesome. Area ok By the bay. Beach about 15 minutes. Kitty's are a plus. I felt safe in area and it's in a rich hood so I don't think you will have a problem. Very limited view of bay. Beds were hard as a rock. One sewer roach in shower. Rooms need paint and ceiling was ragged. Towels were clean and plentiful. Tattoo pierced chick was stuffy. But the other gal was nice I think she was new. Game room was a plus pool warm and wonderful.. I paid 80. I would say I paid about. Ten bucks to much. Bar was closed for the season. Breakfast is what makes this hotel. Shower scalded me and water pressure sucked. Gentlemen at breakfast went above and beyond. Give them a raise."
