Island Winds West Vacation Rental Condominiums

"We left a day earlier than our check out date. Ceiling fans had visible thick layers of dust. One was basically broken it was so loud. Floors were disgusting, seemed like they haven’t been mopped in years, left the bottoms of our feet black within 30 minutes of getting out the shower. The shower had grime around all the faucets. Some of the towels had cigarette burn marks on them. Speaking of cigarettes, it smells like that throughout the whole complex. We booked the room for a 4 night stay and there was only one lousy roll of toilet paper in the room. The bed sheets feel like construction paper. There’s a bar across the street that has the most awful live music I have ever heard piercing your ears every night and they blare it through the speakers, that usually didn’t stop until about 10:30-11:00PM. Sure it is conveniently located and that is about the only redeeming quality. I absolutely do not recommend and would definitely not ever stay here again."

"It was nice for the money. Of course the best part was being on the beach. Pool was very nice and clean. Elevator was very fast. Plenty of cookware other than pot holders. Our room was near the elevator I don't recommend due to noise. The only con I had was no down stairs bathroom so if your at the beach or pool you will have to go back to the room. Also the bedroom is near the hall which has lights that stay on all night. I recommend them putting black out curtains up for customers. Bed is not soft but very firm so expect that. Other than that our stay was great and we will return again."

"Awesome place for a getaway! Jan at the IW East amazing go out of her way for customer service and assistance for something of our own making. She didn't have to assist, but was very gracious! And Kathy, such a pleasure to see her daily and our hellos and more. Such amazing folks here. And these are the folks that will make or break a place. What wonderful blessings. "Beautiful condo that's right on the beach. All the rooms have been updated. 3 bedrooms 2 baths with the master with the en suite and walk in shower. Fully furnished, towels, dishes, utensils mostly everything you would need to live comfortably. The sofa has a pull out couch if someone is into those. Only issue we had was the balcony door was stuck when we arrived. After a call they came out within the hour and took care of the issue. Beautiful condo that we will use again."

"Wonderful experiences! Immaculate condos and very pleasant staff, who are great with tips and suggestions. The beach is steps from the building and not crowded. Everything is clean and tidy. We had one window that was ajar and it was fixed immediately. There are washers and dryers in the condos and the kitchens are gorgeous! I felt like I was in my own summer home! I long to go back every year! I won’t stay in any other rental, other than the ones by Brett-Robinson! Truly Magnificent holidays!!!"
