"Look around 1st. Great location but ugly neighborhood."

"Location one block from the broadwalk on a pedestrian-only block is still amazing. From a few of the second story rooms, you can see the ocean from the balcony. Rooms are spacious; a living room and kitchen and a separate bedroom. They could use some updating as there are some gashes, writing on a wall, etc. Kitchen has full refrigerator and two stove-top burners plus microwave. You must check in at their main office about three blocks away (they have over 20 properties). They did help us get our luggage to this property as we didn't have a car. You have to check out beach towels and dishes for the kitchen if you want them. They no longer provide beach chairs. They have a place where you can rent them but a chair is $15 for a day. You can buy a chair for less if you don't want a chaise lounge (go to the band shell, turn right and go to the last store at Ocean Rd). You can also rent on the beach but then you have to go onto the beach closer to Charnow Park. Bring your own tissues, coffee, filters. They put in new fans but only with pulls, not with remote control. I'm sure if the bedrooms, the fan and light are connected so you can't have one without the other. Water pressure is good and lots of hot water. Tables outside the rooms and also in the courtyard. There's a grill as well."

"Booked the room through Airbnb.I usually never book "no-refund rooms or rooms with no reviews" but it was a "new" listing and I figured I would give it a try. HUGE MISTAKE! I reached out to Marc our host 2 times with no reply. Waited in line for an hour to check in at a different hotel location. There were only 3 people in front of us and everyone of them had some type of complaint or problem with their booking or room. I paid in full or at least I had thought I paid in full through Airbnb. There were hidden fees $39.04 in total for a hotel service fee and a parking fee. You must pay a parking fee to park on the hotel property or you must park in a free parking garage 4 blocks from the hotel. There is no handicap parking or accessible entrance to the Del Mar hotel. There was a $100 deposit that is refunded but was not disclosed on the Airbnb booking. The room was less than desirable. The pictures of the room and surrounding areas were a total embellishment. The 5 pools listed were all at different hotel locations. The noise from neighboring rooms ALL night long was ridiculous. If you are 19 and want to party all night like a spring breaker and are so drunk that all you need is a place to pass out then this is the place for you!"

"Great location that's all I can say we had a apartment like room that was great the fees are ridiculous parking you have to pay and you bought a room that's ridiculous breakfast was okay staff was friendly except for front desk totally unprofessional"

"This hotel is providing false advertising of the amenities that it has and hides behind a no money back statement during booking. Sorry is not legal if you knowing mislead customer during purchasing. Advertisement claimed to have 2 Pools, Gym, Tiki Bar, and other features in reality the Hollywood Beach Hotel group that owns this place says that they own 21 hotels in the area that you can use, however they never provided any details of which hotels and where any of the amenities. front desks had a line and calls from people pleading to cancel their bookings early and all were being denied. Do not book here if you value your time and money. I imagine this will be the same issue with be the same issue with all properties managed by the Hollywood beach hotels group."
