Fortune House Hotel

"wow, I travel for work once a week and somehow found myself at the Fortune House in Miami. Claims to be 4 stars, reviews are great, but that seems like a lie. This hotel hasn't been remodeled in at least 20 years. Amenities are horrible, room smelled like smoke, they'll take a security deposit then charge you for things without authorization. Stay at East Miami to SLS this place is terrible"

"This has been my preferred choice to stay whenever I am in Miami for business. I have stayed here for at least 10 times or more in all my previous stays in Miami. The staff is friendly, very helpful. Good amenities, good room size and feel home. Highly recommended if you are in Miami for both personal or business trips."

"Location is perfect for those needing to be downtown. It was in walking distance of everywhere I needed to be. Rooms are nice and roomy. The washer and dryer are a great add, but the bathrooms should be remodeled. Also, the views are a bit obstructed. I will definitely be back because of the location, amenities, and roominess of the rooms. Will keep booking on AirBnB as long as I need to travel to Miami."

"I highly recommend Fortune House Hotel! From the valet attendants to the guest relations agents, especially Ray and Maria F., everyone made me feel at home. They made my stay feel smooth and welcoming. The suite was impeccable. The only problem I found was the low water level and pressure in the toilet. I was happy to see the washer/dryer in the unit, but the water pressure gave me pause. It's not like I had to do a lot of laundry while I was on vacation! This was just a minor issue. I appreciated the care and cleanliness throughout. The hotel is very convenient, with easy access to all the places I visited in the Brickell, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, and Overtown areas. This is not the first time I've stayed in Miami, but I must say that I felt safer here. I will stay here the next time I visit Miami. Thank you."
