"We took our (then) 3 month old to Dr. Patty after a lactation consultant caught his tongue and lip tie (after it was missed by a hospital speech pathologist). Dr. Patty was so kind and really got to know our son and his complex medical history. She recommended oral motor and craniofacial therapy. I know many feel this is unnecessary, but we saw huge improvement from this therapy alone. Then after the surgery, it was a drastic improvement. That night, he made sounds he'd never made previously. The entire staff is wonderful and Dr. Patty is so personable. I felt like she really cared about ensuring he got the best care. He eats in half the time now and is doing so much better! "Dr. Patty has now done tongue tie releases on two of my three children. One of my children had the procedure done with another provider 5 years ago as an infant, but, without proper follow up and patient education for aftercare from said provider, the tongue tie reattached. Dr. Patty successfully revised this tie at a much more difficult age for my son, but she did it with such care and she followed up multiple times to make sure that everything was as it should be. More recently she performed the procedure on our newborn who was having trouble breastfeeding.
