"New client. I arrived on time, did my paperwork, and was called in on time. The hygienist was great. The doctor advised me for a filling, did it, and I was on my way. Great service!"

"Went to see this dentist in Clermont. Had the worst experience. First I had to make at least ten trips just to get a mold made for dentures. The did not seem to know what they were doing. From that moment I felt that something was not right, as I have been to dentist before and it did not take me more than 1 or 2 trips to get a mold made. Finally after visiting the office repeatedly for the same issue they decided that the dentures were ready. After calling me in for like the 11th time, I got to see and fit the dentures. They were such a disappointment as the teeth used were the darkest shade of yellow, they were crooked and ill-fitted. I told the female dentist that there is no way I will be wearing those and she agreed that the quality was not the best. They then send them out to be adjusted and for the color of the teeth to be changed to a lighter color. I was all excited after they called me in again like for the 12th time to do some extractions before the finished product is fitted. I ended up doing some extractions, however there was one tooth that was difficult to extract, even with the numbing agent. I expressed to the dentist that I was feeling a lot of pressure with that extraction and he still wanted to go ahead with the extraction. After several attempts with me almost passing out he decided that after pulling and tugging at my tooth he would not take it out but instead decided to send me to another dentist who would sedate me to do the extraction along with others. I left the office in a lot of pain because that single tooth had been wriggled and tugged at to the point of coming out but was still left in my mouth causing me excruciating pain. After, I came home I tried to fit the dentures that he had made and guess what? they could not fit. After fitting them in my mouth they did not fit against my gum they were left floating in my mouth, I ended up with my mouth unable to close, with my moth looking like I had buck teeth, as the dentures were so bulky, and most of all, I could not talk with them in my mouth. All of these were issues I pointed out to the female dentist when I was fitting the dentures and nothing was done. So I am now left with dentures that I cannot wear and instead of fixing my problems I am now left with more problems including paying for dentures that I cannot wear. I just cannot fathom how someone can do this to another human being and still continue to practice. I could not ever recommend anyone going to this dentist as I am in the healthcare business and could never treat my patients like this. I am at a loss for words that they would even think this is normal practice. I will definitely follow up with pictures of the dentures during and after they were made."

"This dentist office is good for general dental procedures with Dr.Ortiz (male) but not for cleanings. The female dentist that examined my teeth was very rude and tried to upsell me a deep cleaning which seems to be the case here with dentists in Florida. I came in for a regular cleaning and was denied the treatment. I should be able to choose my treatment. Total waste of my time and will not return."

"THE Family Dentistry! Dr.'s Ortiz ARE family, and they treat their customers like family too. They are very caring, very thorough, and make the entire experience virtually painless. They were the first dentistry my daughter had ever been to, and immediately quelled any anxieties she might have ever had; even as a kid getting teeth extracted, they set her at ease. And, really, that's their M.O.. I too have a lot of work done the past few years, and, truly, they always do excellent, pain-free work. I highly recommend this office."

"First time here my son has been to the dentist once prior no serious issues he is 5 and on the autism spectrum. I made the receptionist aware and was assured he would have a pleasant experience. Not the case. The dentist is not fun for adults let alone kids. He was anxious and scared and 45 min later after our scheduled appointment was told he would not be seen at all as soon as we sat in the chair. Did not even attempt to make him comfortable and referred me to another dentist. I asked what the difference would be in environments (its more colorful) and if he just felt uncomfortable even looking in his mouth no tools or xrays (he said no). Completely inhumane and incompetent."
