Mount Dora Flea Market

"Great place!! Reminds me of the old Sanford flea market! There are lots of good stands and great donuts! We went during the antiques show, so many great old trinkets."

"Honestly I didn't go there often, really during holidays and we only went to see a couple who owned a jewelry store have had jewelry made from them and bought, but they have recently retired. It's sad to see them go, but they've been there for a long time since the flea market was in Sanford. At times, we would just sit down and grab a bite to eat while waiting around for our jewelry to be repaired. Now that they're gone, don't have any reason to go back there, It's too busy for me and the parking is just way too crazy. I rather go to a Mall!"

"This is a really nice flea market/antique mall. They have lots of old items that scream early Americana. Today I was lucky to bring my family to the military flea market which my son seems to be a little military history buff from all of the Call of Duty games. I was a little put off though when I saw two grown men screaming and yelling at each other over a parking spot. Later in the day I saw one of the same men in another screaming match. I thought to myself is that what all military collectors are like. Anyway, if you have the chance to stop by the flea market stop by, just hope if Mr angry is there he took his medicine for the day."

"I miss Sanford flea world or flea market very much. We lost the great place a few years back. But I take a ride with my parents to the Mount Dora flea market now and then to buy plants and fruits… Very nice place to take the family and spend time walking around and we always make room to go see the famous sunset at Mount Dora Lighthouse, and walk around downtown Mount Dora."

"I could go every week for a year and still not see everything the vendors have to offer. I will be back and I'm buying everything! It's just an awesome place like most flea markets can be, but this one is special for some reason. I need to win the lottery so I can just come here every weekend and buy everything!"
