"Great fast service the office staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to accommodate and keep your belongings safe. Would definitely recommend and will use these guys every time. Abby in the office is super awesome. Definitely appreciate everything"
"I'm a former employee of this location, I stopped by to check in with the owner and manager. They are still going strong. The best moving service in Bay County."
"Very friendly and super easy to work with. Was in and out so fast with weighing my truck on their truck scale."
"I am part of a military family. This company was assigned to us for our move to England. When the men came in, I couldn’t believe how nice everyone was. Some of them were prior military themselves and very friendly. Nothing but smiles and positivity. However, there was one individual who showed up to our house that day in a bad mood separate from his positive co-workers. His name was Dave. He had long gray, scraggly hair. Dave told my husband and myself to get out of his way, because he had a job to do. I was shocked. He was responsible for packing up our bedroom, which included our babies’ crib. Dave spent the entire time in our bedroom working on that crib with an Allen wrench. Among arrival to England, we discovered that Dave had stripped several places in the crib and the English movers could not even assemble it. We had to have it replaced, which the military did pay for. However, the memories from the baby crib are irreplaceable. No mother wants to throw away their child’s crib. In addition to destroying the crib, after the other workers packed up the home, they had me check the house for anything they may have forgotten. I checked every room and found that the bedroom closet had been overlooked. Of course, that was Dave’s room he was responsible for. So while the other hard working men thought that they were free to go home, they all had to come back in and pack the closet. They were frustrated with Dave. The other workers proudly accepted a Chick-Fil-A lunch from us, but when we offered Dave a meal, he refused. I don’t know why he didn’t like us—maybe he doesn’t like military families? I just wanted to share and get this off my chest. I really think the broke the crib on purpose as well as left my walk in closet unpacked on purpose. All in all- I can’t say enough good things about the other men. They were amazing. I realize that it’s been over a year and should have reported this sooner. But I initially wanted to just let it go. However, I still find myself upset over Dave’s behavior."
"Van Horn moved our household into storage on 08 Mar 2019 and today they moved everything back into our home from storage. Tyler oversaw both moves; though there were more than three months between the moves (and you know they've been BUSY in all that time) he remembered where specific pieces went in our home, he remembered that we have a treasured antique desk that requires special care and assembly, and he complimented the change in our flooring and paint. With hurricane repairs near-complete, we were so happy to have our possessions back to make the house "our home" again - and they were so mindful of our hardwood floors, newly-painted walls, and every doorjamb. We met four gentlemen between the two moves and all of them were personable, considerate, and hardworking. We worked with Joe and Nancy by phone to coordinate everything; they remembered us and went the extra mile to try to help on our tight timelines (both times). Fair prices and great service. I can go on, but safe to say: we strongly recommend Van Horn. Thank you for caring for our home like it was your own."
