"I love going to local, convenient, tackle shops. More than for just the gear, but for the advice. I am from out of town but considering moving here to be close to some retired family. On this trip, I needed some shore line gear and bait. Here is what I got: a scoop of live shrimp a few specific hooks and weights An aerator for the shrimp A pair of clippers and a bottle of pop. I forgot the pop at the counter and did not realize until we got to the water. 2 days later, we returned for some more shrimp, and they said, "Hey, you left your coke last time, grab one from the cooler". just perfect that They take time to remember people's faces. I will also say that the owner was making 3 or 4 racks of ribs and invited us to come back later that afternoon. Pretty sure he was just being friendly but it did make me feel very welcome. When I do move here, I plan on visiting this place a lot."
