Aqua Hotel

"Aqua Hotel for very nice and affordable. Room was clean and comfortable. There a two very clean pools. One is salt water. One is fresh water. The walk to the beach is right around 5 minutes. Restaurants and shops 10 mins. You cannot go wrong at the Aqua Hotel."

"For a quick weekend getaway it was okay. The room was constantly damp and smelled like wet beach towel. There were small nats/bugs flying around too. The damp environment made my allergies flare up the whole vacation. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows awful. The towels they provided were so worn out/old and thin. The room was big and offered a small kitchenette too keep drinks cold. Bathroom was just okay. Walk in closet helped with storage. All my clothes smelled like beach. One major issue I had was security. Anyone is free to come off the streets and walk around property/ use amenities or be up in rooms. Not as safe as the luxury high-rises I normally stay in. At night, there were no staff members around and you feel like you're on your own. No staff to help with check out. You kind of just leave and text them. More AIRBNB feel. Location was convenient. Probably wouldn't stay again."

"Pros - Location is very close to the beach, safe area, cute /romantic grounds with nice places to eat nearby, good for a one-or two-night stay, pleasant and helpful staff Cons - Room requires serious update/freshening up. The bathroom was uncomfortably tiny, showed years of wear and tear and a small space with a curtain in front could use a better more modern design."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Aqua. Maggie was simply incredible. Seriously, I have never encountered a more welcoming and helpful hotel manager…she is the best. Our room was clean and comfortable. The decor at the hotel is so nice. There is an outdoor courtyard area that is so pretty and relaxing. My daughter said it is like “an adorable zen garden”. There are 3 pools…the one by our room was heated and very nice. There is a hot tub and a jacuzzi tub as well. If we are in Fort Lauderdale again we would absolutely stay here."

"We have been coming here for years and we still like this place and it’s special charm, thanks to Maggie above all! It is so much nicer than the faceless big hotels at the front row. And a great concept of the North Beach Village with several other cool hotels and cafe and restaurant and bar in the area. Great love to detail, only the gyms next door could enjoy som attention. The area is a must for mid century modern fans!"
