"It's an okay park. There are little parking lots placed around the edges along the road that skirt the park. If looking for scenery probably not the go to place. But it's a good place to walk, with a long track that goes around the artificial lake."

"Benderson Park is beautiful with that gorgeous lake, paved walkways and a playground. Problems include: people walking, riding bikes, and skating in the roadways. What the heck? There are plenty of paved paths for that! Pathways not marked; they need center stripes and arrows. People hogging the Pathways, walking/riding 3 abreast so no one can get through. Cyclists riding entirely too quickly. Insufficient parking. Park closing for paid events. Inexcusable! We PAID for this park!! We should be able to use it ANY TIME!!!!"
"What a beautiful park! It really is a world class facility. Entrance is free and the parking is free. Seems to always be something fun going on. We've seen dragon boat races, sculling races, triathlons, walk a thons, Lipizzaner Stallion show; just to name a few. It is a great place to get some fresh air and exercise. Walking, biking or rollerblading around the water is beautiful!"
"This is the place to go to if you want to test yourself and achieve a personal-best 5K time. A lot of people out and about, but a lot of respect for runners that want to run faster, all dogs on a leash and the best part is you get to see a stunning sunrise. Yes it is hot it is humid but the Olympic rings give you a feeling of extra power. So, this is the place to set a personal best."
