"Loved the classes and working out there however.. took my son for a swim lesson there, the instructors in the pool were very nice and helpful. . My son was running back to the pool out of excitement after using the restroom.. lifeguard was screaming unprofessionally loud and nasty tone at him to stop running. My son got scared along with a few others that did not understand why he had to get so loud. When confronting him all he said he did not want to get in trouble if something happened to my son, no actual concern at all about him getting hurt. When I asked the lifeguard if he could explain to my son why he had to scream at him so loud lifeguard refuses and said next to my son (a 5 years old) that he just won't listen, not to him and not in the pool(altho his instructor at the pool said otherwise, he was very cooperative and did everything he was told). Then we proceeded to get kicked out of the pool area in a nasty way, by one of the aquatic "management",claiming it was a lesson in the pool and we were not supposed to be in. She was yelling in my face trying to scare me and my son, I told her off so she will back off and I guess she did not like that, so she made threats for us to never be able to go back to the gym and use the pool. So all of this happening infront of a 5years old, that ask me why there are other people using the pool and we can't. (I have photos to prove it was no lesson). Instead of lifeguard being nice enough to explain my son why he had to get loud the way he did, they call upper management to come and try to scare me, and my son. Some people were nice in this gym(instructors, some front desk, and class teachers) and professional. Others, are far from being professional and do not care how they affect kids emotions, which is kind of disturbing. No upper management wanted to do anything about the bad treatment, no one has gotten back to me about that. Obviously I had to cancel my membership, they seem all they care about was the money. hope others have different positive experience then us."

"Love this gym! They offer weekly and monthly passes. It’s never too busy and they have lots of machines and free weights. Great pool, sauna, and steam room. The facility is older but it keeps the rates affordable!"

"CoreSRQ is one of the gems of Sarasota that more people should know about. My family enjoys frequent swims at the Aquatics center in the North Branch. Ken has really achieved something amazing by creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. My two children look forward to seeing Ken each week. We started with the family swim lessons until both our little ones became comfortable and skillful swimmers. Ken is like a grandpa to the kids. Outside the pool we echo what they learned from Mr. Ken’s swim class: “Safety first!” And if we go too long without visiting the pool the kids will let us know they miss Mr. Ken! In addition to the fantastic aquatics center, the gym is great, too. The machines are plentiful and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. The membership cost is quite affordable for a family. We are so fortunate to have CoreSRQ near where we live. We invite our friends to join and stay fit and healthy. Thank you, CoreSRQ!"
