"It is so hard to think or have a conversation in the shop. The calling out of orders or shop talk is great. However the constant slamming of the ice machine, the trays, etc., can be startling. It's like dropping a metal gray on a concrete floor every 10 seconds. I get they are in a hurry. I don't work behind the counter, so I can't give a solution. The occasional sound of metal slamming isn't so bad but the loud metal crashing is so annoying. When I talked to the gal behind the cash register, she was dumbfounded. She blamed it on the ice machine. Maybe have to go back to Drowsy Poet."
